It is Chameleon although it's a slightly old build now.

Is it possible to give us the kexts that you put in chameleon for make andyboot, and tell us in which folder to put them?

So we can try with newest chameleon.

Thank you very much

Just use pacifist to unpack them - they all go in s/l/e with a few additional files for bluetooth being handled by the pre and post install scripts.

A better idea would probably be to try building the usb stick and then using chameleon wizard to install the latest trunk build of chameleon over the top (remembering to rename the boot.plist file).

Thank you for this guide. I am a complete newbie in Apple/Mac/hackintosh world.

I purchased an Asus P8P67 rev.3.1 motherboard, 60GB OCZ AGILITY HD, 1TB WD CaviarBlack HD, Intel core I7 2600, 8 GB RAM, AMD Radeon HD 6870 and I successfuly installed IATKOS L1.

Only some glitch so far:

-Lan (solved with Netgear PCi card)

-Audio (not solved)

-Bluetooth (not solved)

Can I try your P8P67 Pro Installer.pkg, even if i used IATKOS L1 installer ?

Kernel panic is expected?

Many thanks in advance!

@Alegaddo:

Hi. I too was able to get iATKOS L1 to install, but could never see anything other than a blank screen after I rebooted into the new Lion partition. Which "Customize" settings did you use during install and which bootloader parameters did you use when restarting afterward? I have a Radeon HD 6950 and suspect that it's the cause of my blank screen, but have tried various permutations of settings and boot flags and can't see the GUI. Thanks in advance for your reply.

Working with your guide using an old installation file of osx 10.7.0 and not 10.7.2, boot with package...but if I update to 10.7.2 and then install again the package...when I try to boot I have always:

Waiting on <dict ID?"0><key>IORPVODIERCLASS</key><stiring ID............etc

and then still waiting for root device

I dont know what to suggest, i have used the package multiple times on 10.7, 10.7.1, 10.7.2 and even the latest 10.7.3 betas and have never seen that message before :(

maybe video card? I have sapphire 6950 2gb reference, with netkas kext (also used your packet with his kext). Ok With graphicsenabler=y for the installation, and the first boot (booting from usb), than installed your packet for p8p67 pro and for 6970 in the brand new installation, and it boots, until I update at 10.7.2, what have I to do after the update? The system reboots, than I should have to reinstall 6970 packet, right?

A lot of times I have a light blue screen instead normal boot, at the end of verbose boot.

(hope to be clear, here it is very late)

After installing 10.7.2 you should delete the ATIRadeonx3000driver.bundle in order to be able to boot back to the desktop and then reinstall the 6970 package.

so..

with the 10.7.0 working I installed 10.7.2 combo update, and before restart, deleted ATIRadeonxGL3000driver.bundle

It will boot with -v -GraphicsEnabler=y but without QE/CL off course, then I reinstall 6970 package, the result:

update:

i think this error is caused by something in andy package, if I use ##### + ##### it works until I install all the kext in S/L/E found in package for p8p67 pro

@Andy

Have you tried the package with p8p67 pro rev 3.1? or 3.0?

How can I install the appropriate kext with ##### for usb 3 without your package? Thank you

Yes I have and so have many people on this thread. If you have a 3.1 board there is no point installing the usb3.0 kext as it wont work - the 3.1 uses ASMedia usb3 chipset that currently has no support (although the drivers that are installed by the package wont hurt). I don't think the problem is in the package otherwise it wouldn't work for anybody (including me and in that case i would never have published it).

Out of interest what devices do you have plugged into your usb ports?

Do you have multiple installations? and if so are you absolutely sure that you are booting from the drive that you installed lion too? (otherwise its going to pick up the wrong bootloader and associated extra data).

Hi Andy waht do you think about ATI 6950/70? is still hope this cards?

There is always hope. The fact that the card works at all at the moment is reason enough for hope but nothing appears to be changing with the 10.7.3 builds so if it is ever going to gain better support I dont think its going to be anytime soon. I could be wrong and often am because only Apple know the answer.

I have just 1 keyboard + 1 mouse in usb, 1 ssd in the white sata connector (intel sata III), I'm sure to boot from this disk, I use F8.

I just tried to install #####, then you package and same errore as before (the screenshot I posted), I can use #####+##### and it work pretty much well, I replace smbios and dsdt in /extra and still booting, but when I place all the S/L/E kext in my S/L/E (substituting) I have that error.

If I try to use your guide and install the package on usb, i have that error..

Now I'm using a nvidia 8600gts to avoid the problem gived by my 6950.

I have no more ideas....

This is the best you are going to get for now unfortunately. Don't forget this is still an unsupported card.

so tell me why I bought this card for a brand new hack? ahhaha, When I choose this card I read "working with netkas 6970" and thought fully working,.

Is it normal that I have to reboot 1 times over 2? When I start the hack the screen remains on gray apple, so I have to reboot and it works.

There is another card like 6950/6970 as power/price but more supported?

thank you

Lately I am having a problem with my setup. I installed Lion on my 128BG SSD and moved my user folder to my bigger hard disk. While it was working at the beginning I now have the problem that I have to boot the system several times because OSX does not mount the HDD with my user folder correctly. So I get the error message, that my user folder could not be found (because OSX mounted the HDD as "Home 1" instead of just "Home"). The strange thing is, that there is a "Home" folder but I do not know why. Any ideas why this is happening now?

Besides that I have the P8P67 Pro. The SSD is on one of the 6GB/s Ports and the HDD one one of the normal Intel ones.
