Thanks for all the work you've put into this project. I'm looking forward to get up and running on my system.

Unfortunately I've run into a couple snags with this install. I've attempted it in two ways.

1. Attempted to use the latest USB ##### 1.1 with OSX 10.7.3. I am able to get a successful install and am able to boot the LION install from USB. But when I apply your package and try to boot from disc, I get the Crossed Circle icon during the boot process. Going back an trying to boot to the LION install from USB again I get the same thing. For some reason, after running this package, my install is broken somehow.

2. Using this same USB stick I followed the step-by-step procedure as detailed at the start of this thread. F8 to select the USB stick, and I get black screen with a flashing icon. I copied the downloaded Extra folder into the USB stick's root dir. I also ran the package and directed the install to the USB stick.

I have a P8P67 Pro, not rev3, running the latest BIOS version

AMD Radeon HD 5850

i5-2500k running at stock speeds

G.Skill Ripjaw DDR-1600 - 8gigs

Western Digital Caviar Blue 500 GB SATA III 7200 RPM 16 MB WD5000AAKX

H'mm couple of people have apperently had the same problem on this thread with recent installs so when i get some time over the weekend I am going to try and reproduce the problem - it definitely worked with the initial build as you can see from the thread so I will have a look and see if I can spot anything.

Ok I'm a bit stuck now for retesting this because I am already running Lion. I signed into the app store with a new account and bought a fresh copy of lion which then downloads and launches the installer straight away and i can't find the downloaded file to use to create a new boot usb :( Anybody have any idea where i can find the downloaded app file? it doesnt appear under applications so thats probably 20 odd quid that I have just wasted buying something I already paid for a while back !

Ok I followed the steps in the guide to the letter (I actually did it twice - once partitioning the usb stick as guid and once as mbr) and both attempts resulted in a working bootable usb stick so I have no idea whats causing some people to end up stuck at a blinking cursor or with other problems. The only thing I can think of is either a problem with the usb stick they are using or incorrect usb mode set in the bios.

This is indeed strange. I am able to boot with the latest ##### no problem with the same hardware/settings. I was actually able to boot from harddisk after applying ##### manually instead of running your package. I might try applying your package again now and see if I get the crossed out circle during boot this time.

If you get the crossed out circle reboot and use -v as a boot flag so we can see what the error is!

@rkrueger, yeas they are the latest packages.

The only error on that screen shot is audio related and can be ignored (it wont stop booting) - can you detail your hardware because you have something that's screwing the installer and is nothing to do with the motherboard

P8P67 Pro, non rev3 (BIOS 2103 x64)

i5-2500k stock speed

G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1600 F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL

XFX Radeon HD 5850

External usb hub

Western Digital Caviar Blue 500 GB

To be clear what I've done here. Is that I've got my machine up and running on OS X 10.7.3. I did this by using ##### 1.1, then using multiboot defaults. I can boot from the HD now, but the other things like speedstep, audio, bluetooth, etc. are obviously not working. I run your P8P67 Pro package, reboot, and I get stuck during boot now.

after the screenshot, it just keeps saying "still waiting for root device" over and over

See if you can boot in safe mode -x

Same as normal boot, see apple loading screen, after a couple minutes of the spinning wheel, I get the crossed out circle

**correction**

I get the spinning wheel endlessly. No crossed out circle/

I booted again using -v -x, and I can see where it's hanging this time.

The last line is :

USBMSC Identifier (non-unique): etc.......

It just sits there after that.

Dont take this the wrong way but if you use ##### and ignore my guide I can't really help you - I can only comment on what I know works.

I don't take it the wrong way. I followed your guide and only got a blank screen and blinking cursor :)

I got all the way working trying the ##### way, just missing the features that your package fixes, but that kills that boot after I run it. *shrug*

Thanks anyway.

I'm willing to work/troubleshoot this more with some guidance, but if you'd rather not spend any more time on it, I understand.

Try showing hidden files, copy the boot file that ##### installs somewhere safe (along with the boot.Plist) install the package and then copy the files back to see if that makes any difference. Also did you try booting with GraphicsEnabler=Yes ?

I have the P8P67 Deluxe and used the P8P67 pkg... when trying step #18: Run the andyboot5 package relevant to your motherboard, I get the following error:

The operation couldn't be completed (com.apple.installer.pagecontroller error -1.)

Couldn't open "P8P67Installer.pkg"

Not sure what info will be relevant here to give... Some have stated using the P8P67 pkg for the Deluxe or do I have to use the Pro?

Any help would be apprecieted!

Sounds more like you need to download the package again.

Does the P8P67 Deluxe work with 10.7.3 with speed stepping and sleep etc.?

Got a sabertooth P67 now and i can't get my sleep working again, thinking of buying a P8P67 Deluxe because there is more dsdt edit for this mobo.

What do you guys think?

Wow.... got my energy bill over 2011 and seems not having sleep/wakeup on my P8P67 working properly is going to cost me dearly.....

Time to look into getting this setup.

@Dysfunction: I personally never got sleep (or actually I should say wakeup) never working until now trying different DSDT and BIOS settings so I dont think it is this easy.

So if somebody does have sleep / wakeup working with this board, any pointers on how to get it working would be more than welcome.

Thanks
