Thanks Edit: WHEN BOOTING THE DVD, in another leopard x86 the next prase is ACPI[s0 S2 S4 S8] its having issues reading the ACPI information from the BIOS most likely. I'll re-reburn it (There's the possiblity to make like linux acpi=force or acpi=off? at boot???) Detosx Posted April 22, 2008 Share Posted April 22, 2008 How does this compare to, let's say, the 10.5.2 Kalyway?I had problems with the latest Kalyway, namely that it wouldn't recognise USB devices on my laptop, whereas all previous kalyway versions had been fine in that respect. A sizeable minority of installers reported the same problem. Leo4allv2 worked without a hitch - except it wouldn't always boot up, required at least a couple of efforts. I had similar problems with kalyway. My laptop is an Acer 4720z, dual core, GMA X3100. It sounds as thought the bootup problem might have been solved with this release. After I finally downloaded the torrent, I opened it and there were 36 .RAR files. I have expander, but I have no idea how to turn this into an ISo file? This is the first time I have had a problem installing an Distro since I started trying to install Leopard back in January. Any suggestions? I have tried two different dvd's . Stuffit do NOT find .r00 Haven't tried WinRAR as do not have windowz no longer, thought you can read "jurke954" the pirate bay torrent post and see he is unable to unpack under windowz either. @ bhast2 - DO CHECK your post before uploading. Keep torrentz clean. DO NOT upload scrap files. @ one more info: Demonoid torrent is also unpackable. Edit.
