At this point a big compliment to @vit9696 and @vandroiy2012. Since Mojave we often read about problems with the Inject of the LayoutID. Some ALCs are working well, some are having trouble loading deleted IDs and patching and loading ID 7. From personal experience, it is not always easy to meet every demand. It's just a hobby for all of us, but AppleALC is a good project and I hope you continue for a long time. Therefore in between times something positive here. Great work from you !!! Thanks also for incorporating the last two codecs, @vandroiy2012.3 points

Works now! There were just 4 or 5 differences in config. Not sure which one made it work. I guess I could compare both configs again and do changes 1 at a time until I see which one did it. Thanks!2 points

Thanks my friend @max.1974! I will give it a shot later today and I'll report back with my results. Do you think this will fix the sudden overheat of the Vega 64?1 point

Thanks, I read that thread. I found some kexts and DSDT for the 990, even tho I may get a 790 MT with a i7 2600 or a Thinkstation S30 with a Xeon E5-1620 (which both are quad core with hyper threading, better performance than the i5 2400) which I found for not so much (180EUR)1 point

Hi, ask Slice for these kind of things as I'm really noob as I don't care personally, the app show datas from what plugins provide but really I can't help for that.1 point

Copy the related kext for your gpu to to extension folder and repair the rights...1 point

This is the patched kext I am using. It's your GM modified kext @max.1974. I am on Mojave 10.14. This is my Vega 64 card that I'm using: https://www.powercolor.com/product?id=1503544206 DisplayPort and HDMI ports all work perfectly. Audio works perfectly as well.1 point

@thenightflyer, please try that: HWMonitorSMC2.app_beta5.zip (a doubt that this is cause by the localization system), let me know1 point

There's no need for you to build this as the current version can be found here on the Clover repo. Newer builds, I post in this thread for testing.1 point

If the plist is not in the cache then Clover can't patch it. I may propose to use codeless kext for this purpose or use well-known binary patch "External"->"Internal".1 point

No issues here with AppleSupportPkg build. All works fine with v4.9.3 Maybe retry again1 point

Hi, Best check smcread -s output and verify the key amount. VirtualSMC has all the necessary documentation about SMC keys in Docs folder. If the amount of keys does not match, I guess some research is going to be needed. Otherwise HWSensors2 is under question (more likely, because we tested large multicore systems).1 point

@jenyunhuang I do not know exactly what is going on ... but maybe the battery manager kext is not loading? i have not tested the latest packs on Sierra. But in your case, maybe you should just stay with the older kexts from previous releases?1 point

Hmm... When I build AppleSupportPkg from acidanthera current sources (on github), I still end up with ApfsDriverLoad.efi and AppleImageLoader.efi in UDK/Build/RELEASE_XCODE5 (and AppleUiSupport.efi... UsbKbDxe.efi too)1 point

That means that you uncheck it once, maybe by cases. If you want to start with fresh preferences delete /Library/Preferences/com.projectosx.clover.installer.plist1 point

Alan, Acabei re-instalando do zero mesmo . Todas as vezes que re-instalo fica mais fácil o processo. Mas vou usar essa ferramenta para limpar cache e nvram caso necessário no futuro. Muito obrigado.1 point

I agree that there is a problem with users who do not RTFM. But there is always going to be that problem no matter what. I'll be the first to admit that the documentation for FB-Patcher is also lacking. But I do plan on improving that. EDIT: I've added a warning to the top of the first post to read the manual before downloading the tool. I've also added a link to Daliansky's tutorial in English.1 point
