Hi everyone,  I'm qwertzuiop258 and I joined the hackintosh community because I'd like to set up OSX Mountain Lion on my Laptop. (x220 , i will edit my forum signature soon.) I have experience with GNU/Linux. I consider myself as an experienced computer user with more knowledge than an average one, but I dont know everything.

I'm in school for a last year, then i'll go to university. I live in Austria (it's the small country to the south of Germany), please forgive me if you don't understand me.

Intel 6205 (this probably won't work) wifi (bgn??)

My main problem is: during installation keyboard trackpad wtc. works, but not when booting from disk. (this annoys me)

Since I come from GNU/Linux, I have no fear towards shell scripting, terminal commands etc. I prefer those utilities in contrast to GUI Apps.

Hey guys, I'm new to the Mac scene and REALLY new to this website. A random thought about how nice the old G5 cases looked, and how I would like to build my PC into one, landed me on this forum. You guys have a ton of info and some really nice people.

I want to throw these parts into a G5 chassis;
i5 2500k (going to OC)
ATI 7870
GIGABYTE GA-Z77MX-D3H  mobo
H80i CPU cooler
Kingston HyperX XMP Blu Red Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3
Corsair CX600m PSU
2 x Noctura NF-R8 80mm fans

Hi everybody. Never would have thought I'd end up in the Hackintosh community. I waited 18 months for new iMacs and now I am being disappointed by the December 2012 ones, so here I am.

Say, is this guide still relevant? I plan to use a Gigabyte Z77 motherboard.

Core i5/Gigabyte GA-PH67A-UD3-B3 (F9)/Radeon HD 4850

Network and Video are ok!
Going to write some XCode under OS X...

Hello, I'm Hunter. I'm 12 year old girl and I love my bf Roy. I like when he fingers me hehehehehe.

I'm a guy who hardly takes things seriously except when it is completely, I am a (not) proud AMD user! I do enjoy My Little Pony, but I don't let it run my life.
I do have ideas for the OSx86 community, such as a community driven OSx updater patch that takes hardware info, and gives you Apple updates that have been patched to work with your Hackintosh system. Making everything SO MUCH easier.
I not only wish to find tutorials, but also learn more about Mac OS, and its hardware that it uses.
I hope to get far in this community, because this is the first forum that I signed up for to not just giving a comment, or to download something.
