<key>RestartFix</key> <string>Yes</string>Sleep due to inactivity works, but forced sleep (from the Finder menu or login window) doesn't. The computer seems to resume running normally, but the screen stays black. I hope there will be DSDT patches for restart and the sleep problem, but I haven't found any yet.
<key>UseKernelCache</key> <string>Yes</string>As far as the initial Lion Install, I created a USB stick for that. I don't have time to write a detailed tutorial, but here's an outline of what I did. The USB stick has Chameleon installed on it, with a boot partition that contains the "boot" file and the Extra folder. There is a separate partition for the Lion equivalent of the Snow Leopard install DVD. This setup is the same as you might do for Snow Leopard. The difference is in setting up the install partition. That partition uses about 4.5GB, so you need a USB stick larger than 4GB.
