Well what do you think? Real or fake. The one on the left is supposed to be a 15" MacBook Pro and the one on the right is the supposed sub-notebook. The large trackpad doesn't look that good to me, but it's supposed to have some multi-touch interface thing.
Always eject before disconnecting.

Kinda stole you article, rathalos
EDIT: To the doubters: that's why that is a question and not a statement
Besides China, Australia is now the 2nd country to filter out pornography and violence sites. The Australian government is now requiring ISPs to filter out the so called "smutty" material. When the user goes to these sites, they will most certainly be met with a block. The users can opt out in and decline to let their internet be filtered, but imagine the look on parents faces when they see that their 14 year old son has just enabled the porn to flow in. No more porn for Kiko!
Didn't really know what to put here, so here is a map of Australia
Sometimes Shapeshifter doesn't cut it. Mostly because it costs money. But what if you could tweak Leopard to your heart's content? Well now you can, for free. There are a few little single purpose applications that can edit the color of the menubar, tweak the Dock, "fix" Stacks, customize the login window, add features to iChat, add some plugins to QuickLook, and change icons. The list of applications is linked at the bottom of the article.
Today, Net Applications just released numbers that confirm the browsing market share of Mac OS X (Retail and Mobile) have risen. The Retail version of OS X has gone up to 7.3%; 3.28% for PPC and 4.02% for Intel. This is the second largest jump in market share ever, where, in January, Mac market share went up .55%. But there is more good news: the iPhone/iPod Touch market share is rising. It seems that, when the iPhone was released in July, it had a .04% market share. But now, in December, it has a .12% market share. That means that in 6 months, the iPhone tripled it's browser market share.
Biggest. Update. Yet (This is a link).
Update: Gizmodo has posted a video of the new firmware and I suggest you check it out. Link
Update2 We're not sure if this is real, because the carrier name, usually "AT&T," has been replaced by "Nate." Hmm..
While Apple is definitely going to release an update to the iPhone and iPod touch firmware during MacWorld, no one knows quite what features are going to be included. But based on the screenshots, here is a list:

Note: Gearlive's servers seem to be struggling to keep up with the amount of times the page is being accessed, and I'm sure posting here won't help. So in the meantime, ModmyiFone has a few of the pictures. Link
Well, the title might be a bit misleading: the torrent file isn't downloaded to the iPhone itself, but rather on your computer. I really don't know how to explain it, so I'm going to use the good 'ol copy and paste function.
"My solution was to use Javascript to alter the torrent link to send its URL to my server for download rather than trying to open it. A PHP script on the server could then download that URL to the torrents folder. With both scripts in place, and the permissions of the torrents folder modified to allow Apache to write files, all I have to do is run the Javascript as a bookmarklet before clicking the torrent link, and click the link to download the torrent file. The modified link will pass this URL to the script to download it on the server."
Our good old friend the Financial Times says that Apple and 20th Century Fox have reached an agreement to sell rental movies on the iTunes Store. The movies are expected to come in a sort of limited-playing window, that would only allow customers to watch these movies for a certain amount of time. Another important aspect is that, on Fox DVDs, people will be able to load them onto their computer and then import them onto your iPod, without use of software like HandBrake.
For the first time in history, Apple stock crosses $200. Unfortunately, the luck didn't last and Apple closed at $198.95, up $.15 from the previous day, this is still a big achievement. Apple has had a wild ride with stock, in August of 2006, Apple stock was a mere $56. That is a long cry away from the amount it is at now. When MacWorld comes around, expect it to go up a bit more.
We all knew it was going to happen. When Wired released it's Top Ten Gadgets of 2007, the iPhone was surely going to be on there. Well it was, but specifically the Jailbroken iPhone. Some other items on the list were, in no order, The Amazon Kindle, the 2nd Generation Zune (eww), The HP Blackbird 002, and the Asus eeePC. As more Top 10 lists come out at the end of 2007, expect to see the iPhone on them.
