theconnactic 1117 Posted October 22, 2015 Uneventful update. The clover patch for AppleHDA still works after updating. Honestly, I don't use either Office, Voice Over or emoji, so I noticed no changes at all. 2
MacWienie 0 Posted October 22, 2015 I updated to 10.11.1. Mostly uneventful, however after reboot following 10.11.1 update install, my USB mouse and keyboard did not work, despite their both working in Clover boot selection. The problem was alleviated by completely powering down the system, waiting a minute, then powering back up. Video driver took a minute to kick in, but the OS was able to recognize that the driver was outdated. An update was available for installation (346.03.03f01), so I just installed it. Everything appears to be working okay. Audio and network appear to be working. Audio recovery from sleep mode was not affected by this update. Motherboard: Asus Z97-K/CSM Memory: 8GB Crucial Technology Ballistix RAM @1333MHz Processor: Intel Core i5 at 3.37Ghz Video: EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti Audio: Realtek ALC887/888B HDA Network: Realtek 8111GR

Who knows why... but still better than the Windows update mess! 1
lumark 3 Posted October 27, 2015 just finished to update to 10.11.1. I just had to re-install applehda.kext...and everything is working properly
