OS X El Capitan is coming Sept 30 but Apple is already taking the lead in offering the first 10.11.1 beta.

As usual, Apple does not reveal any details about the improvements included in this first beta.

My PC automatically downloaded the update and install it ( forgot to turn off auto update ), and now boot is a bit slower...and Finder is lagging like hell.

Anyone eles have this problem?

OK, so the lag with the Finder was cuz there was nvda_drv=1 boot argument.

But the problem is in Config file there is only kext-dev-mode=1 as boot argument, no nvda_drv=1.

Any ideas how to turn that off?

Tnx.

Just updated, everything went smoothly.  Just had to re-install AppleUSBXHCIPCI to get back USB3 speeds (was working back in to USB2). First login after update has a welcome screen and a prompt about diagnostic info, I uncheck that. 656MB download from beta1 to beta2

Installed the 10.11.1 beta 2 on my ga-b75m-d3h motherboard and all my usb 3 and usb 2 ports started to work correctly at high speed and the usb 3 would also run usb 2.0 correctly. Prior to this only usb 2.0 would work. My machine is running pretty much with basic clover setup and toledo's alc-897 audio mod. No DSDTs or injections used.

No problems with update, just updated the entry in NVDAStartupWeb.kext is all.

I added 15B30a to NVDAStartupWeb.kext and it will not load on 10.11.1 Beta (15B30a) released on 10/7
