  1. @nmano How do I stop the error in Vmware Fusion when resuming from sleep the app says:

Can anyone help me understand why AppleXcpmCfgLock turned off causes my machine to kernel panic when resuming from sleep, but I can boot fine with it on or off. I have unlocked CFG in the bios. Resolved by resetting CMOS.

With 10.15.6 I needed to unlock the MSR in my bios otherwise my machine would freeze running Geekbench however without the Kernel Quirk: AppleXcpmCfgLock the machine is slow and wont resume from sleep. Anyone have any suggestions on what to patch in the bios.

UPDATE: All fixed just needed to disable CFG Lock! With the latest version of Geekbench 5.2.3 released 8/5/20 my system is crashing on the last step "machine learning" its a total freeze and I have to manually reboot it with the power key. Tried with 0.5.8 and 0.6.0. Anyone else having this same problem?
  5. @cmmchris Sorry this does not make sense. Are you saying no longer necessary if using Whatevergreen.kext ?

@nmano what does this do exactly?

THANK YOU @nmano! This fixed my issue, Vmware not giving me any problems after resuming from sleep! Are you able to boot from the recovery partition? I have HfsPlus.efi but I just get a black screen and it reboots back to the OC picker.

*EDIT* Problem solved thanks to @nmano DeviceProperties Patches! I am experiencing something that I do not quite understand, perhaps its an OpenCore bug? After waking from Sleep I get the following error in Vmware fusion After waking from sleep: "This host supports intel VT-x, but intel vt-x is disabled" and refuses to run virtual machines. This error will persist until I fully shutdown the machine and turn off power to the PSU and reboot error will be gone in Vmware. Just for reference I have to have AppleXcpmCfgLock enabled in Kerner Quirks or my machine will not wake from sleep. *EDIT*

@Ellybz I got it here you posted it a while back. I got rid of the errors! Curious are you using the USBX ssdt? From what I read we "need it" but it does not seem like thats the case. Also you able to boot into the Recovery partition? I heard it might not work due to my card being a rx 5700xt not sure

Also not sure this is working see ioreg screenshot:
  14. Curious I have two 1070 cards one at gfx0 and the other at gfx1 is it possible to get this to work with the second card at gfx1? Thanks!
