    Shutdown problem with El Capitan

My experience has been that having mounted iSCSI shares when initiating a shutdown causes it to take 10x as long.

    Lightroom CC 2015 GPU Acceleration

    Working good, only thing is some apps default to Iris with no way to set GTX as the gpu, but either way the difference is significant. /Applications/Adobe\ Premiere\ Pro\ CC\ 2015/Adobe\ Premiere\ Pro\ CC\ 2015.app/Contents/GPUSniffer.app/Contents/MacOS/GPUSniffer <140735221243904> <DynamicLink> <5> Attempting to launch dynamiclinkmanager <140735221243904> <DynamicLink> <5> /Applications/Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015/Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015.app/Contents/dynamiclinkmanager.app --- OpenGL Info --- Vendor: NVIDIA Corporation Renderer: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 OpenGL Engine OpenGL Version: 2.1 NVIDIA-10.9.14 346.03.04b02 GLSL Version: 1.20 Monitors: 2 Monitor 0 properties - Size: (0, 0, 1920, 1080) Max texture size: 16384 Supports non-power of two: 1 Shaders 444: 1 Shaders 422: 1 Shaders 420: 1 Monitor 1 properties - Size: (1920, 0, 1680, 1050) Max texture size: 16384 Supports non-power of two: 1 Shaders 444: 1 Shaders 422: 1 Shaders 420: 1 --- GPU Computation Info --- Found 3 devices supporting GPU computation. IntelMausiEthernet.kext for Intel onboard LAN

I only made the purchase after noticing IntelMausiEthernet did not support jumbo frames. So maybe it's relevant information for some.

    IntelMausiEthernet.kext for Intel onboard LAN

I like my frames jumbo, so I added a sonnet presto PCI gbit card, it works natively and supports jumbo frames and AVB/EAV, problem solved.
  7. Anyone know why this thread is the only place on the public internet to find updated web drivers, do you need a nvidia developer account or something?

    El Capitan 10.11.2

web drivers that worked fine with beta 4 not working for beta 5, wont boot without nv_disable
  9. Might be worth a shot to try creating a custom resolution using SwitchResX http://www.madrau.com/data/switchresx/SwitchResX4.zip
  10. gtx970 1,000,000 = 36 FPS 2,000,000 = 21 FPS 3,000,000 = 14 FPS
  11. here are your options - wait for nvidia web driver that supports 10.11.2 - install combo update 10.11.1 to revert the update (after editing System/Library/CoreServices/SystemVersion.plist)

    El Capitan 10.11.2

I agree this update broke my system as the NVIDIA drivers prevent a successful boot even with the edited NVDAStartupWeb.kext. Booting off the working 10.11.1 partition now. Disable nvidia boots fine 10.11.2 but no use without discrete gfx.
