braveskunk Posted September 30, 2008 Share Posted September 30, 2008 hey! thanks for the effor kaly! theres one small glitch with this release. i'm polish, so i would like to have polish language. it's not only finder pl.lproj missing like in your 10.5.1 distro but a lot more(system prefs, preview, finder search options etc.) could you tell me how to add the missing pl.lproj to all applications at once and not transferring them one by one between 2 computers? i noticed that even if i transfer pl.lproj from full polish (working hack) to the new one(half pl half en) it doesn't do anything(system prefs for example). leopard just doesn't seem to see fixed translations. i have changed the order in sys prefs, repaired the permissions and still nothing. finder however changed to polish version(except search in field). any thoughts? It must be done in the terminal right? If I use that Add_kext_to_dvd_boot.command it says 'The file “Add_kext_to_dvd_boot.command” could not be executed because you do not have appropriate access privileges. To view or change access privileges, select the file in the Finder and choose File > Get Info.' But what must I do there? I have one major problem though that i couldn't figure out and haven't seen it mentioned anywhere: None of my PCI cards work and also where it should show PCI devices it says there is none. my specs: mob: Asus P5P800 chipset : Intel 865PE My PCI soundcard has got MAC drivers that i installed but it is still not recognized. Also i cant change the screen resolution (VGA: ASUS A9250 PRO AGP (0x5960) 128mb ) and my LAN card is not recognized ( Marvell Yukon 88E8001/8003/8010 PCI Gigabit Ethernet Controller ) If anyone could help i would really appreciate it! Hi WauloK, I installed 10.5.2 on a Dell Vostro 1000, AMD Athlon x2, sound works (used applehdapatcher), using callisto for video resolution 1280x800, wifi working out of the box, but, I only get a kernel panic at shutdown, some sort of error with applehda about corrupting the registry, no video with VLC. For some reason the NVIDIA 6600GT is showing as PCI and not AGP. I have SATA 200Gb and 2Gb of memory. Any ideas how to configure the graphics card as AGP instead of PCI in OSX? My specs as follows; AMD Sempron 3500+ (1.8GHz/512Kb) 15.4" Ultrasharp WXGA display 512GB DDR2 SDRAM 533MHz (1 DIMM) ATI Xpress 1150 256MB HyperMemory (Integrated graphics) Only 1024x768 working on getting widescreen resolution 60GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive 24x CD Burner/DVD Combo Drive 6-cell 53 WHr lithium-ion battery Dell 1390 802.11g Mini Wireless Card (Works out of the box) The audio did not work out of the box, but patched it later and it's working fine now. I still have issues with playing DVDs but I have found the fix but have not tested yet. Will be testing it with in a week and I'll update the results.
