umm ive dled this off of mininova and i looked in utorrent is say i dled the 3G iso file but when i extrac the rar file (that says its 3+gs there is no iso just 2 files wtf is up is the torrent fake!?

 

 

nope.i had the same problem.try burning it on a dvd .i burnt it with nero ,and ull be fine .

I downloaded the 10.5.2 stuff from torrents. When i try to burn them to a DVD i just get 116 KB copied ! I use Roxio DVD Burner to do this. Is there any other software which i can try for burning the iso file to DVD ??

This is my first post and I'm not much of a computer expert but I easily got this up and its running great on my computer (Pentium 4, sse2). I do well with point & click or copy & paste instructions. :rolleyes:

 

My question is: How can I update my OSX to the current 10.5.5 without breaking what I have now? I would really hate to lose all the work I've done.

Thanks for the DVD KALYWAY, i have enjoyed so much installing the OS, tweaking and debugging. and now i got the full laptop and desktop working and running OSx very nicely.

I builded new PC with

 

Motherboard: ASUS P5E3 with DDR3 support and x38 and ICH9 chipset...

CPU: Quad Core 8200 4mb cores..

Video: ATI Radeon HD 3650

HD: Western Digital SATA...

Memory: DDR3 1333Mhz Corsair...

 

I tried installing iDeneb iAtkos Jas ToH , XXX x86 beta1...but none of them workd after install they just freezt...

 

I did good research on insanelymac i spent like 4 days...

When I started on insanelymac i was noob just idiot...

After 4 days I get working everting...

 

Ok back to Kalyway...

 

I downloaded Kalyway 10.5.2 and I installend on my HD...After install woala I got my Leo....

Everthing works like out of the box with P5E3 motherboard....

 

But I neded ATI driver so back again to insanelymac and just looking...and woala again I found the way to install my ATI HD 3650...

 

One more thing...if you install kalyway 10.5.2 the USB drivers like Ipod and USB HD wont work so just install

 

USB Fix 1.3...Just look on insanelymac and you will find everthing ...

 

But again pay atantion on instructions....

.....

And noobs please read on insanelymac and google....

Hi. I am trying to install Kalyway 10.5.2 DVD Intel_Amd on my box. All is good till I get to the disk utility. It does not find my HDD. It shows the DVD only.

 

My hardware is:

 

MB: MCI K9A2 CF

 

HDD: SATA Seagate at channel #3

 

SATA controller: ATI Technologies Inc SB600 Non-Raid-5 SATA

 

Can I make the insall on my PC?

Second: I need a little help (my topic).

 

Description from my topic:

 

I installed Kalyway 10.5.2. All works fine.

Keyboard an mouse are on USB.

I tried to install original drivers for keyboard and mouse (for extra buttons), printer and space navigator. (Just to make printer work is fine.) All are USB devices.

After each driver install and restart I get kernel panic. I tryed tons of things, but no go. (BTW: application installs and works.)

 

I tried to install usb_fix_1.3 (correctly to match kernel and system.kext version-I folowed guide), but I get kernel panic also after restart.

EDIT: I tryed Mysticus C*'s Fix 2.0, but the same result. This works for most people, but not in my case. B)

Pen drive is not mounted also. (I use this workaround.)

 

In short: installed anything system related causes kernel panic.

I restore my original Extensions every time I get kernel panic.

 

CPU:AMD64 3000+ sse2, mobo: Gigabyte GA-K8NSC-939 nforce3 (the rest is in my signature)

What is causing kernel panic?

hello guys,

i meet problem when boot the dvd, the line freeze after

 

com_apple_driver_RTL8139: Ethernet address &^$@&^#@

 

after google for hours i guess it's the realtek NIC problem with some solution, but i still can't solve it because,

-x freeze too.

other kernel freeze too.

my BIOS don't have option to disable it. (compaq presario v2019ap intel)

i can't add kext into dvd because i don't have osx to run the command.

i can't do the windows "wake on lan after shutdown" trick because my winxp don't have this option.

 

so is there anything i can do?

hey guy sorry i have a problem i don't know realy how to burn the cd like i have downloaded the kalyway 10.5.2 and i find 3 files in the folder i find another folder with write on ADD_KEXT_TO_DVD a iso file Kalyway_10.5.2_DVD_Intel_Amd.iso and a read me ... how i have tu burn the cd??? thanks guys

Thanks Kalyway, after iDeneb dind't go well for me, I had a black VLC window.. I installed kalyway a few minutes ago, but I have the same problem as in iDaneb with shutdown. I think my laptop doesnt shutdown, it goes into sleep mode and it does wake up, but the screen remains black. How can I shutdown my laptop without restarting and booting into windows?

I'm trying to install Kalyway and it just plain stops at the verbose screen:

When start with dvd the following message appear:

Hey Kaly, I have a problem with the installation I think.

 

I've sat and waited for the text screen to load up the language selector thing and it never has.

 

Is the text just supposted to sit there like it does? or is it supposed to be a continuous flow?

 

I get to the part where the dvd starts and I hit the "-v" and enter. and it runs the first set of things, the screen goes blank and then the little white text starts and pretty much stops just as instantly. it gets a full oage of it in less than like a second. but it stops right after that.

 

is that a problem or am I just supposed to wait forever???
