Right. Surely it doesn't matter what makes somebody happy so long as it doesn't harm somebody else, and homosexuality harms nobody, so there's no cause to make anything of it, it's just a characteristic like any other that should not be fussed over

....^ :)

I fail to see what is so funny about it.

Whether you agree with homosexuality or not, that is a fair argument. It's debatable whether it's worth much but certain not funny material.

I'm wondering if you're the type of guy that looks at a can of Coke and starts laughing.

Maybe they were suggesting that there is someone getting harmed.... the other person in the relationship....

To even consider posting this thread was inexplicably insensitive; and it's just trying to stir up an argument over a perfectly normal occurrence in life.

To post here was not insensitive since for some homosexuality is still ingrained in their mind that it is a sin or morally wrong. This needs to be confronted.

On a side note, it's great to see that the majority of the members are accepting of one another and strive for equality. :P

:D *sigh* I am an exception to the rule ( for here, anyway) .... Be {censored} , I dont mind, I will still respect you just the same , but just dont try to impress any of that type of thinking on me. That's all I ask.

By the way, I am not a guy. Sorry to disappoint.....

Maybe not every guy but I know of a story where a {censored} guy turned straight and his friends literally stalked him around. My friend had to go pick him up because they wouldn't let him get in his car. Then, about an hour later they came to his house.

All sort of odd things do happen, but it is the first time I hear anything like that, honestly.

OP is definitely a homosexual testing the waters.

I definitely love me some {censored}, no doubt about that.

I really don't believe in {censored}/straight/bi whatever.

I think we're capable of loving anyone, some of us just happen to fall in love with guys more often.

Just look at all the bromance going on. Try to honestly tell me that you didn't have an urge to kiss your bro that one night that you got {censored} ass drunk.

Broke Back Mountain.

BAM

this is something the church should take do and i don't mean the pastors and leadership of the church if you go to church and are saved you are the church and having received Gods love and forgiveness you should extend the same love you received to all including Homosexuals the truth is God loves everyone the same there's nothing we can do to gain it or loos it, it breaks my hart to see the church throw stones at Homosexuals when there's no difference between Homosexual sin or any other sexual sin the truth is Homosexuality is sin but because of what Jesus did on the cross anyone can receive forgiveness for there sin and (the best part) the power to live a sin free life set free from the power of sin.

Except that Jesus never condemned homosexuality and Leviticus which is most often cited as the reason homosexuality should be condemned, is part of a vast chunk of jewish laws that were supposed to have been voided by the whole new "bargain" the resurrection was supposed to have created. There is a reason why christians aren't bound by the whole of old testament law.

imagine my suprise,

I joined here as Im trying to get my head around the principles involved in building a hackintosh for my recording studio, some great info here, and clearly some knowledgeable folks. I have learned much already and no doubt will have many more questions as time goes by.....but then I stumbled on this thread.

Im {censored}, out and pretty damm fine with it, I live in Auckland New Zealand (its peeing down here at the moment). I own a recording studio that I built with my own toolkit, teach audio engineering to young people, work part time at TVNZ as a director, and play flight sim when there is time and Im not out socialising. Have lots of friends, some {censored} some not. the quality of those friendships individually has nothing at all to do with their orientation.

So Ive read most of the thread and heard some of the same old lala that Ive heard before from only a few posters Im pleased to say. The vast majority of the posting in here has been cool.

So consider me suprised in that this is the last subject I thought Id encounter on a mac site, and suprised at the general level of comment overall....

The founder of this site wanted (a few) off-topic sections.

From a moderator's point of view they have quite often been a major nuisance.

But OTOH off-topic posts help building a sense of community, and have proven that, overall, users here are a nice and tolerant lot.

People need to become more accepting of those who are different than them. Plain and simple.

I absolutely agree. This is the basis for peaceful coexistence (not only for this argument).
