I added new option to Info.plist.

i need people to help in the iwi2100 driver

if you have linux you could help (see previous posts)

I don't have Linux installed on my HD, per se, but i have a live distro CD of Whoppix, will this work? It boots up fine on my laptop, but it won't detect the Intel 2100 wireless card. Furthermore. i can't find something like Windows Explorer or File Manager to access my HD or drives where the linux driver i've downloaded is located. Also, how do i display a linux log of iwi2100, let alone find the "firmware (boot, ucode and firmware) size" of the driver?

Here's some ugly log output, I'll try to grab what seems relevant. Most of it is the same thing over and over every 1/100th of a second..

sorry. debug version print all flow!. I'll change it .

you should attach it ( not paste ).

I have one question. your network's name is "chaosnet" ?

if it , i seem that it is already associated and work.

cannot specify network name by hand and cannot look at associated network.

I can get ip address via dhcp in my environment.

would you check if your machine get ip address?

plz type "grep associated /var/log/system.log". if something is hit, it is work.

Hmm. Well I left it hidden at first, then opened the network up. But never got an IP, nor signal meter, or anything. but there was:

Jan 29 14:45:15 N2OSX kernel[0]: iwi2200: associated: 'chaosnet' 00:0d:0b:cb:ab:bd

Jan 29 14:57:24 N2OSX kernel[0]: iwi2200: associated: 'chaosnet' 00:0d:0b:cb:ab:bd

Is it expected to fail with encryption at the moment? (ie: I'll leave later tests to unprotected unless you've gotten security to work also)

Hi guys,

Just wanted you to know, the v6 driver works great on my 2200bg card in my Fujitsu Lifebook 7020S.

I've been in the middle of gathering the 10.4.5/6/7 kext files in order to post here, but it seems redundant now.

I'm using JaS 10.4.8 Beta v2 AMD/Intel SSE2/SSE3 (Using SSE2 Pentium-M chip).

Great work and I'll test as much as I can for further devopments.

Here is my current dmesg log:

Went to the Darwin IWI project page - somehow I missed that. Very nice. I'll try the use_10_4_8 thing and test on an open network in a bit.

Don't really like the idea of an open network, broadcasting itself on top of that.. so even if it works I won't be using it until more functionality is working. :\

Good work tho all!

Guest bikedude880

I'd say congratulations are in order. This was no easy task and you pulled it off brilliantly and made it appear as an Airport device!
