I never use this card?

Use amfi=0x80 not AMFIPass.kext

Try to Add BlueToolFixup.kext, and AirportBrcmFixup.kext

But only AirPortBrcmNIC_Injector.kext in Plugins folder of AirportBrcmFixup.kext

@MakAsrock, or use the attached config.plist.I already changed all respective MaxKernel flags to 25.99.99 I also removed the MaxKernel flag for AppleALC.kext and disabled  DisableIoMapperMapping. Furthermore I disabled AMFIPass.kext. If it does not work with the patch you are using, try to follow the instructions in the OP.

Good luck 👍

In Ventura it works out of the box, in Sequoia with OCLP patch 2.4.0 or higher, but in Tahoe it doesn’t want to work (OpenCore Legacy Patcher application (v3.0.0) 819.8 MB Build Date 2025-12-03 17:22:49). 😕

ConfigTahoe.plist.zip 7.81 kB · 4 downloads configSequoia.plist.zip 5.62 kB · 0 downloads

Try this config

config.plist.zip

Make sur to add AirportBrcmFixup.kext in your kexts folder

All current EFI folders are in my profile repository on GitHub. Wi-Fi doesn't work because this fork isn't from Dortania at all. I used the OCLP 3.0.0 nightly build from here. By the way, if anyone needs it, hurry up to download (It does not require amfi=0x80 boot-arg).

The build from the link you posted (the original Dortania link) does not yet work for patching Tahoe.   You need to follow the link provided in Post #1 of this thread.

You can build in macOS Tahoe All Package from my Fork ➥ Build Source

Pages site is here, Actions Build here

Anyone who wants to contribute is welcome, simply fork my repository and then create a pull request.

Downloaded your experimental EFI for tahoe from your github.

I have the same your kind of wifi and i do not use both this two kext in my cfg

Maybe it is unrelated, but that wifi worked perfectly in Ventura without any kext..and now luckily also in TAohe with modern wifi "unofficial" OCLP :)

@chris1111

Tried your package on Tahoe 26.1 with the classic Fenvi T919.
No issue, wifi is working fine after root patch.
Good work!

@carlo_67

EDIT: Are you using AirportItlwm on Tahoe? >> Skip this question, I forgot the option to spoof Intel as Broadcom with OCLP.

Intel 7260 works perfectly

Screenshot 2025-12-06 alle 18.32.43.pngHi, I'm glad that Intel 7265 works for you with airport. My Intel 8265 with Tahoe I couldn't and I have to use eliport. I tried several guides and patches but it still doesn't work and I ask you if you can explain here, or if you want to send a PM, which kext and the various steps because I didn't understand why from the first photo you can see the kext Airport BCRM fix that is mentioned in any guide, in the Device list you can see and therefore you only use the PCi BCRM not the Intel Pci. Which OCLP you used and how. In short, a guide for Intel that everyone talks about Bradcom. Thanks if you do it

Excellent man! Have seen a lot of rumours about Intel with OCLP 3.0.0 here and rather preferred not to mention anything yet about it in the OP of this thread. Also did not try myself to make my Intel AX210 work with OCLP 3.0.0.

Now you clearly confirm that Intel and OCLP 3.0.0 are working!! :thumbsup_anim:

Although apparently one needs a bunch of additional kexts for WIFI and Bluetooth: Airportitlwm.kext (I suppose for Ventura?),  AirportBrcmFixup.kext, BlueToolFixup.kext, IntelBluetoothFirmware.kext and IntelBluetoothPatcher.kext. Surprisingly, you do not use IntelBluetoothInjector.kext. Anything else one needs to consider to make Intel work with OCLP under Tahoe?

Thanks for any additional clarifications and once more congratulations!

@KGP-iMacPro I had a bit of time on hand and decided to follow your OP guide to apply the root patches to one of my Comet Lake hacks with Tahoe 26.2 (25C56) installed.

Lo and behold and thanks to your excellent tutorial and the magic coding by Hoang Hong Quan (Izhoang2801), whom I will refer to  as a coding wizard, everything is working, Audio as well as WiFi.

The only problem I was able to detect so far is that my favourite browser, Firefox, now fails to start, having to use Safari in the mean time.

Is this a known issue and is there perhaps a solution ?

Will now try to boot into Sequoia and use OCLP Version 2.4.1 to check whether patching  Sequoia 15.7.3 Release (24G419) still works.

Cross fingers.

Will continue testing other features of my Tahoe installation  and report back should I find more issues than Firefox.

@Henties, glad to know that Wi-Fi and AppleHDA are working on your system.  There are indeed issues with firefox and a few more apps due to boot-arg amfi=0x80. No issues with Safari or Brave Browser though. Unfortunately there is no solution until we have a signed version of the code that works with AMFIPass.kext.

Hi. i'm not success boot into tahoe OS with IOSkywalkFamily.kext enable , (it work good in Sequoia OS)

it has restart panic when enable IOSkywalkFamily.kext, but IO80211FamilyLegacy.kext enabie are booting in,

it's there new version IOSkywalkFamily.kext for tahoe os or need special edit,i had follow guide in first page but not work,

anyone got same issus?😥

I'm using it on Tahoe, it works with BCM spoof with OCLP, this morning I tried without spoofing and it works the same

--We install the kexts and the blockKexts-Wifi+airdrop +block.zip

IOSkywalkFamily with MinKernel 23.0.0 without MaxKernel

Screenshot 2025-12-07 alle 11.30.13.png

bootarg amfi=0x80

,Screenshot 2025-12-07 alle 11.32.33.png

and reboot. We launch OCLP by applying the patch. We reboot. Open the configurator and disable the AirportBrcmFixup plugins if the Intel Bluetooth doesn't work.( only in plugins the kext must remain)

Screenshot 2025-12-07 alle 11.37.15.png

always with opencore configurator, you can spoof in the devices properties, it does it automatically, but I saw that it is not necessary

There are no new versions of IOSkywalkFamily.kext and IO80211FamilyLegacy.kext so far for Tahoe. Just use the ones for Sequoia implemented in the linked EFI-Folder of the OP. If your issues continue, just upload your EFI-Folder that people can help you in your issue.

just use the kexts attached by me that were for sequoia, with the VENTURA kext AirportItlwm

@KGP-iMacPro Another Comet Lake hack of mine is now also working with OCLP Version 3.0.0 (Nightly).

Took a bit longer as I needed to map the memory, in the config.plist of this particular hack, was receiving memory configuration errors after every

boot but these errors did not affect the operation at all. Now, after mapping the memory, the error messages have vanished.

What is very pleasing is that my Flightsim is actually now starting, which always failed under control of OCLP 2.4.1 and Sonoma or Sequoia.

Progress indeed with either Tahoe or OCLP 3.0.0 or both.

Will now test Sequoia, but wandering whether I need to use OCLP 2.4.1 or can one also use OLCP 3.0.0 ?

@KGP-iMacPro @Anto65 Sequoia 15.7.3 (24G419) has now also been patched on one of my Comet Lake hacks. It works like a charm, except of cause Firefox.

For Sequoia I used OCLP 2.4.1 because I do not believe in "cross breeding".

In real life I would try to prevent, a highly pedigreed horse (stallion), to sire his offsprings with a donkey (mare).

Just my 2 cents.

Both of the macOSes on one of my 2 Comet Lake hacks have now been patched and are working very well.

I need some advice in order to accomplish this also on the Sequoia 15.7.3 (24G419) installation of my other Comet Lake hack. On that particular

hack OCLP 2.4.1 pushes out a message that a macOS installation must first complete before patching can proceed.

I looks to me that in Software Update --> Automatic Updates something must have been set incorrectly at some time or another. Usually I keep this

set to "Only Update". The message seems to point to macOS Tahoe 26.1 (25B78) being the culprit, inhibiting me to proceed with patching, however

the hack boots cleanly into Sequoia without hiccups.

Wandering if there is a way to clear what Tahoe 26.1 has screwed up without actually it being installed ?

Would appreciate some help on this one.

Greetings Henties

Hello guys,

Using OCLP 3.0.0 Nightly build downloaded from here on Tahoe 26.2 (25C56), I have the following issue:

Capturedecran2025-12-07a14_22_49.png.83b86eeafbfacf9ebe16614639fe3646.png

I've used OpenCore-Patcher-Uninstaller.pkg to uninstall and then reinstall with OpenCore-Patcher.pkg  but the issue persists.

Any idea?

Thanks

NB: I'm willing to use this build because amfi=0x80 makes Firefox and some other apps stop working.
