Hey @Anto65  Is AMFIPass.kext necessary for my Z390 machine ? Let me know.

I think that regardless of the platform AMFIPass.kext it is necessary , I would avoid the boot-args amfi=0x80

Sorry for my poor English: I don't understand what you means.

For example, on my old Ivybridge machine AMFIPass.kext is necessary.  So far I don't use this kext on my Gigabyte  Z390-9700K (macOS Sequoia).

If you use an AMD Polaris GPU, this is the problem that prevents you from advancing, try disabling whaterevergrenn, or use onboard video if it is available on your CPU! I had the same problem with X99 P4, Xeon E5 2630 v4, RX 550 4GB (Fake ID), I was only able to advance this part when I used the RX5600XT from my main computer!

Thank you. Actually I' m using Nvidia 780 with oclp and I thought It could start as usual without acceleration waiting for next oclp.

Now I must set config file  to enable 620 and choose internal gpu and try.

I' ll give you feedback.

I think you got this EFI from my GitHub page actually ( https://github.com/joostiphone/Z390-Hackintosh-Joost ) :) I have it working for Sequoia, but not yet for Tahoe. Did you make any changes to the one you uploaded?

I think I will use iMac20,2 for Tahoe (Apple Model: Intel Core i9-10910 @ 3.60 GHz), because it works with AMD dGPU.

Yes, that's your EFI. Just disable USBInjectAll.kext, add the last kexts and OC 1.0.5 and Tahoe works.

We're fine then my English is even worse don't worry
I don't know what the translator sends 😅

On the Ivybridge obviously because you patched probably the graphics

on the Z390 why should You use it? Unless you have to patch the Broadcom , then yes

yes, it works

Thanks for the quick response and I will have to investigate as to why only my Apple Music does not produce sound while everywhere else sound is working

Go back a few posts, I mentioned how I fixed this error.

Hey @Mirone I don't find your post to  fix stuck Error KextLog: Collection UUID matches with loaded KCs. Please, let me know.

Hello everyone, I wanted to share an interesting situation. I almost managed to get the Tahoe up in a "crazy" condition. I obtained a different command from OpenAI (ChatGPT) that worked absolutely well to install the entire system from within Sequoia, for example, but it is a risk, that is, a risk if you don't save your EFI and eventually it doesn't go up. I did it on the M4 Pro and it simply installed in minutes, after running the command below, pay attention to the quotes that need to be straight and not slanted, so if you change the name of your HD, don't change the quotes.

This command installs the Tahoe inside another partition and then deletes the old installation and only it remains. It's cool, but be careful that on Hackintosh your EFI has to be good. The idea here is to share so that we eventually have the chance to upload the EFI and test the adjustments. Follow the command:

sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Beta.app/Contents/Resources/startosinstall --eraseinstall --volume /Volumes/SN850 --newvolumename "SN850" --agreetolicense --nointeraction --passprompt

Change SN850 for your "HD Name" (take care if your quotes is " " and not inclined (slanted)

Hope help someone :pirate:

You can use for same partition with Sequoia for exemple, after reboot almost 90% is ready to get logon screen (with my Z790 almost get there) but on my M4 Pro just after boot, run a few seconds and up to new logo screen like fresh install and deleted old macOs previous installed. I think is useful

Need put quickly your password and left run for a while, will shows % .... menu

Bro ignore the neighbours dog, instead doing all that non productive barking, tell it to come and give a hand.

Don't give up man, you're nearly there. Remember I was at the point you are now as frustrating as it was but doggedly (there's that dog again) stuck to it.

It's all down to one more minor tweak, the EFI settings that got you this far, store it somewhere off machine, perhaps a spare USB Drive (on the EFI Partition so you can boot off it if need be).

Make tweaks one at a time on the EFI that is on the machine, write down what tweak you did incase it induced a Panic and you won't have to rack your brain what change you made.

Hence the reason I said, at this point don't do too many changes all at once to confuse the situation.

You'll eventually get there Bro. :thumbsup_anim:

A few posts back that was high lighted and a tip to solve the issue.

If I remember correctly, a change of the stock Wall Paper then change back solved the problem.

HI bro, I made all the work to have intel 630 as main gpu. It starts then everything goes black again. I also tried both with dgpu as main and igpu as secondary. I suppose that since my mobo has no hdmi but only dp port I must fix something in config. The f*** Tahoe makes also fun of me for the screen is black and the voice kindly asks for my language choices. Very, very useful indeed. So now I'm telling the air conditioner that if he ( I call him Mario)  doesn' work well I'll shoot him for fun.  I need a beer (35° in Rome), a cigarette and a brainwashing before fighting again. There's a friend of us here that you should know.. I wish she can understand me

For those that have had to disable WhateverGreen.kext have you noticed a difference in anything (Other than being able to boot Tahoe!).

I currently have it set the same for Sequoia too as I share an EFI between them but I can do the maxkernel thing if it would benefit me but not yet sure if command lines can be on a per OS basis?

I was referring to sleep without properties entered because in the properties I use "force-online"

However he goes to sleep without throwing tantrums and sleeps like a little angel
... he wakes up already whenI 'm getting closer a few centimeters away from the mouse or keyboard

All in all, come on this cute Windows Vista oops Tahoe , sorry 🤭

@eSaF  I think it was worth it for all the efforts you made

After a long time of just using one EFI Folder for all I am now forced make Tahoe have an independent EFI and another for the others.

I think there is a setting in OC that can be added to switch config.plist for individual OS.

Now I need to research that, thanks!
