I went to sleep and woke up this morning seeing in recovery terminal that the decryption process ended. After that I initiated the decryption process which seems to take an equal number of hours as the encryption. I’m hoping after the decryption is over, I’ll be able to load Tahoe again without any problematic login screen not accepting the account password and asking for a recovery key that I don’t have.

Don't let it to get into sleep mode during decryption,  otherwise , you have to run some additional commands to resume the decrytpion.

Forgive my stupidity Maestro.

Is this a permanent USB solution or use it to help discover Ports in Mapping?

Work fine. it's the good and old USBInjectAll . Need remap USB2(HSxx) ports first.

Thanks! In my case the screen turned off after a while and was not turning on, but the disk was active so I went to sleep and when I woke up the encryption was done. After that I started the decryption. I would prefer to stay in front of the screen but I can’t as I have other things to do. I guess there a way to turn off sleep mode in recovery through terminal but I haven’t searched for it yet.

@PoMpIs, would you so kind to explain how you made an ethernet cable throttling the speed down to 100Mbps ?  It sounded me like a magic. And I wonder if you have any specific settings in config.plist other than AppleIGC.kext. One guy in Applelife told me he runs i226-V without AppleIGC.kext and AMFI.kext . But when I do this it can not login after bbot process , just black screen. Here is the link https://applelife.ru/threads/ustanovka-macos-tahoe-26-beta-na-intel-pc.2979499/page-17#post-1064929

Update:  After a lot hassle, I found the solution here https://github.com/SongXiaoXi/AppleIGC/issues/23 . It is so simple only by enabling DisableIoMapper or DisableIoMapperMapping to True

That's correct, I had an Asus z790F I think in Sonoma, and the i226v worked simply by activating Intel VT-d in the BIOS and disabledioMapper in OC, it didn't even need AppleIGC, the system simply recognized it without anything else.

Guys, Polaris haven't come back to life yet?

No Polaris 20 (Rx 570) solution yet.. Still Black Screen or (Safe Mode) boot with -x boot-arg...

My chance to get things done is to use Clover, get Clover working in Sequoia 15.5 but no work for Tahoe 26...

If someone could made my Clover works with Tahoe I will appreciate that a lot...

USBInjectAll macOS Tahoe for all Chipsets

Thank you for this.  Many in this thread are advocating the use of SSDT-UIAC.aml without USBInjectAll.kext.  What does SSDT-UIAC.aml do without USBInjectAll.kext?

EDIT: @fernando.c.neves. This is my solution for Radeon Polaris until it is fixed in either a new Tahoe release or WhateverGreen.kext.

I think nothing. Use and check ioreg, device XHC/XHCI.

I agree. I think those that are advocating the use of SSDT-UIAC without USBInjectAll.kext would find that they may as well just remove all USB kexts and remove SSDT-UIAC.

For those who wish to understand SSDT-UIAC, examine the SSDT and you will find that it creates package RMCF.  RM is for Rehabman, the creator of USBInjectAll.kext.  Without USBInjectAll.kext, package RMCF is meaningless to macOS.

EDIT: It has been a while since I used SSDT-UIAC, so I'm open to learning.  If someone can explain how SSDT-UIAC does anything without USBInjectAll.kext, I would like to learn.  thank you.

Correct, SSDT-UIAC.aml does nothing at all without USBInjectAll.kext

If you are discussing this, it means you are interested in it and, apparently, you are trying it.

I openly admit that I have many complexities, but this is not one of them.

Allow me to apologize now for my many flaws and complexities and for those that I am certain to develop.

@verdazil Yes.  See this.  We'll see full Polaris support (for headless iGPU configurations) with an update to Tahoe or WhateverGreen.

EDIT: Also see this observation by @ird

Successfully installed Tahoe thanks for sharing OpenCore files.

Though, after installation. The login screen, is in a loop. If I leave it for 10 mins or so. I am greeted with the screen: (keyboard keys don’t work)

And then it reboots.

no USB kext in the EFI folder. Also set XhciPortLimit to true.

Tried re-installing no luck, issue prevails.

using MacPro 7,1 SMBIOS.

incorporated: no success still

Misc->SecureBootModel = Disabled

PlatformInfo->Generic >SystemProductName = iMac 20,1 or MacPro7,1

add -lilubetaall in boot-args

If I boot into safe mode -x -v -lilubetaaall then I can pass the setup screen & system reboots.

how to ⚙️ Fix?

Long time lurker, first time poster. Got it done on a HP ProDesk Mini 600 G4. See specs below:

Intel Core i5 8600T (Coffee Lake)

Intel UHD Graphics (Coffee Lake-S GT2) (Metal 3 support)

- Needs to be connected by DisplayPort cable directly. HDMI adapter did not work

Conexant CX20632 Audio (Built in speaker works - No startup chime, yet!)

Intel Ethernet (Stock chip) Working

Intel WIFI (Stock chip) Working

Intel Bluetooth (Stock Chip) Working

Sleep and wake works fine

See link below for the EFI folder. Serial registration already randomized but will need to be changed again when you use it.

PLEASE NOTE: This was created with a base from OpCore Simplify and is not a clean line by line build. Also, to get Bluetooth working I had to use the newly released USBInjectAll.kext that was posted above so it is not a pure build ether. If you care about those things, please move on as I just care that it boots and works. (typing this from my successful build!) If you don't, enjoy if you have similar or the same hardware.

Actually, this is just the first time I've interacted about a hackintosh in 14 years. Glad to be back!

Hiya, If you haven't already to get past the Black Screen,

Disable WhateverGreen.kext, reboot clean NVRAM and you should be good to go.

That tip was offered up by a kind IM Family Member.

Cheers.

The thing is, I'm running my RX560 instead of the iGPU (Intel HD 630), so I doubt I'll be able to boot without WhateverGreen
