Do you try SMBIOS MacBookPro16,1 (this version have UHD630) instead of SMBIOS MacBookPro15,2 Iris Plus 655 (your config.plist)

I changed to 15,2 to get my HDMI working, couldn’t get it working with with 16,1.
I’ll give it a go and post results.

After changing back to 16,1 I have tried 5 different framebuffers all resulting in 7mb ram.
I’ve been cleaning and resetting nvram in between each try. Could it just be a corrupt installation? I’ve run first aid with no errors. This install has been on my laptop for ages and it has gone through a lot of updates.
Need to take a break for now. When I get back on I’ll test more.

So I’ve but the bullet and tried a fresh install of the latest beta for 13.2 still no luck.
I am downloading 13.1 to test with my config to see if it is a macOS change or possibly hardware.
Windows and Arch Linux still work fine though.

Well now, this is interesting....

So, just got back from a Holiday vaca and there was an update....(on 12/31 of all times).  I just was checking in and there it was on the opening screen....security update....and it was implying it was urgently needed.

So, I did the update (it was very short, so maybe it was just security focused)

Yep, new update on New Year's eve?-thanks @meaganmargaret-mine didn't show up automatically, but when I clicked on software update it appeared.

Update done and complete ( it's really tiny-took about five minutes)

Build 1: iMac20,2, i5-9400F, Samsung 16GB DDR4 RAM, MSI Z390 Gaming Plus, Radeon RX 580 8GB, OC 0.8.7

Yes -strange- the numbers are slightly different?

Was wondering why this second one (which is so small) took all this while to show up?- I check for updates almost everyday

Old full update (about 11GB ) dated 15/12/22 still shows as latest if you check using 'InstallScript'.  Could someone explain?

Build 1: iMac20,2, i5-9400F, Samsung 16GB DDR4 RAM, MSI Z390 Gaming Plus, Radeon RX 580 8GB, OC 0.8.7

did you see the EFI partition when boot up PC on using Opencore 0.8.8 lastest ?

I am not sure if I get what you mean but I am assuming you are referring to the OC picker?  If you can't see partitions in your Picker on boot up it could be to do with HideAuxlliary=True setting  in Misc -> Boot in OC has changed .

Do you have ShowPicker set to always? i.e do you have a Graphic Picker when you boot up or do you  just get text?  Alternatively you can try hitting the spacebar when the Picker appears and this should reveal hidden partitions. Just a suggestion-done know if this what your talking about?
