but in my real Mac mini, I have minor difficulties in some programs.

Yes this Beta is slightly half baked hence the (d) at the end of the release number, so not user friendly with some programs at this stage.

I’ve got a strange one that I’ve never seen before.
Have not had any issues until now. When I boot into Ventura, it boots and I can login but I cannot see anything anything on my laptops screen. The loading bar and apple logo remain on the screen. I can VNC into my hack so I know it’s loaded and working but the screen is just black with the Apple logo and loading bar about half way. I have cleared the nvram. Kexts and OC are all up to date.

One thing I have noticed is I am not seeing the “second stage boot glitch” since this has been happening.

I have attached my config here.

config.plist

I just booted in verbose mode and verbose mode never goes away but I can still VNC in to the desktop.
This is what is happening in the background.
Lots of applekeystore failed.

AppleKeyStore failed is usual message even if the system works fine.
Your problem is just with graphics.

I have not changed anything though. Just didn’t use macOS for a while.
I have the latest WhatEverGreen and all my patches were working.
Any suggestions?

Have you a SSDT to disable Nvidia? You should be aware your graphics is HD630 and not NVidia.

Control your SMBIOS and WE settings.

Yes I am using a SSDT to disable my dGPU.

At this moment I have macOS booting to the desktop now but no acceleration and 7mb video memory.

I am using a stripped down device properties to get it working.

If i add back in the device_id it boots to the loading bar and apple logo again so I am at a loss.

I have looked at the dortania guide in case anything has changed but it is the same as the settings I am using.

May be AAPL,ig-platform-id is not good for Ventura. I don't know, I have no CoffeeLake.

Ok I’ve found a working framebuffer now to teat HDMI out and apply my patches if needed.
I’ll add my AAPL,ig-platform-id here soon for anyone else.

Scratch that. Still not working.
Lilu is updated for Ventura? I shouldn’t need the -betaall flag?

Of course! If Lilu wasn’t updated to support Ventura, that would lead to a definite panic/halt right away during kernel hand-over; no relation whatsoever to your display issue.
