@Stefanalmare

Where is your signature?

Khronokernel has posted at MR.

I have tried also with GitHub version, and the same. No login screen. Something is wrong with latest OCLP.

Ok. I’ve my iMac 2015 at the Apple service so I can’t try OCLP these days. I haven’t read anything about it in GitHub or Discord yet. But yes on MR.

Have you downgraded to the previous OCLP? Maybe it doesn’t fix it.

By the way, there is an user named StefanAM 🙂

@PoMpIs

Did you read the post by @RoberT_XeS?

When I tried it my lenovo T430 kept rebooting... 🤷‍♂️

But I like it better the way I have it with the 5T33Z0 patch... my laptop doesn't need anything else, neither SSDT-PM nor CPUFriend, nothing... just activate the patch and the laptop already has all the energy states active in Ventura .. It works very well 👍

I don't think so, this laptop is now giving what it gave in older systems with AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement... And I tried that method yesterday and the laptop continuously restarts in a loop

I can't ask for much more from this processor either, it's a two-core i5 3320M with turbo all core at 3.0Ghz and single core 3.3Ghz

https://browser.geekbench.com/v5/cpu/18003081

Today I generated a MacBookPro 9,2 smbios and it's going really well... Even iStat menus show all sensors and i can control the fan.

I really like how it works now with MacOS ventura this old Lenovo 🤭

SNB-E needs to add a patch

I can't find this version(7513B9)

You can try extracting AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement from 12.2.1 and modifying it

 @Stefanalmare @PoMpIs @RoberT_XeS and people I can't remember now.

I think it's a good idea to open a thread for OCLP as @mnfesq says and go there for all things related to OCLP, the first person who posts about it can open a new thread in Developers Corner >> Bootloaders >> OpenCore >> OpenCore Legacy Patcher General Discussion (or OCLP General Discussion, I prefer the long name). What do you think? If this is done, it would be too much work for moderators to move there the last posts with OCLP subject? (sure it is a hard work).

@Stefanalmare

Just seen now, sync binaries 2 hours ago. Tell us if you can fix the login screen issue.

This is a good idea. I will do this.

Although it names "OpenCore Legacy Patcher" it can be used also for Clover installation. So I will create new thread in "Hackintosh Tools" section.

For some reason posts will be in chronological order so not care about the first post.

Hey all OCLP users.
Please go to the new thread created by @Slice to follow there with OCLP specific issues or news.

Installing new macOS on unsupported hardware (OCLP patcher and others)

It’s at Developers Corner >> Hackintosh Tools.

Although I think that Developers Corner >> Bootloaders >> Opencore would be a better place since OCLP (main subject of this thread) is an OC spin-off project.

what would the processor be?

could you share the config.plist and photo of the kext and drivers used

I have an HP Laptop with i3-6006u where the first beta versions work, the last ones don't
panic LAPIC and I can't activate the graphics anymore because I have kernel panic when activating!

Here is my Config file and kexts drive SS. My processor is i5-6200U and it's config code is zero as usual.

i tried the kext but it didnt work, can u check my EFI if there is something missing or some setting that is wrong ?

EFI ventura pm test.zip 6.18 MB · 8 downloads

For Sandy Bridge CPU please enable 3 options in the Kernel > Patch Section

751AB9 to EB13B9

3E7539 to 3E9090

EB064531E4 to EB034531E4

I have attached my EFI. Take a look and compare

EFI.zip

I have removed the resource folder and platforminfo.

Please note I have a heavily modified DSDT.aml I have included all the patches required in the DSDT.aml itself.

Also you can take a look here

Can I update directly from Monterey to Ventura? OC and all my kexts are up to date. Do I need to make any special changes in config.plist? I don't have an external video card only a UHD630.

I think the same EFI valid for Monterey is valid for Ventura having UHD 630. But when final release is expected in a few days, maybe you can wait for it.
