SoftwareUpdate download full macOS Big Sur Beta 11.1 (20C5048l) instead of update  I don't know if it's normal or not.

I have enclosed the installScript file here. I have removed most of the front facing Chinese from it. This one gives all versions from 10.13.6 to 11.1.0.

if I click on installScript_1016fullapp you open the terminal and continue with the various options.
If I click installScript_110fullapp I start xcode.
If I drag installScript_110fullapp into the terminal it gives me access denied

How should I use installScript_110fullapp?

thank you but maybe it would be better if scripts and executables were put into compressed downloads
as well as now most of the time the file is ruined

How should I use installScript_110fullapp?

You can type sudo and then drag the file in terminal. There should be space between sudo and path to file.

HELP Needed I cannot write to my flash drives I am being told I do not have permission I click to enable permission (everyone) and still get the same message This has never happend in the past can anyone advise?

 Check "Ignore ownership on this volume". If do not work go to "Disk Utility": click 'First Aid'

Mine took 12 minutes to download 15 min preparation and 3 reboots. Total update time 30 min. Downloading full installer for clean install.

Yes sir. The update is just 2GB+ and the total update time is about 30 min. which is the time to do a clean install using VMWare.

With the latest update my headphone icon in the menu bar is wrong. It is same as speaker icon.

Update made and I didn't have to download, this time was alerted to the update from a notification from system preferences and the download was already made. For that reason I didn't know the size of the download...

My headphone icon is the speaker icon too... more BS weirdness, for sure ...
