I see. I saw you using GT 520M, does your HD3000 fuction at the same time? I am running 10.12.5, HD3000 is working, but not GF 610M 2G. Still failing to drive 610M. Any suggestions? Really interested in trying 10.14, 2 or 3 , either is okay. Do you mind my uploading my EFI and you help to adjust? I am new in this field and still learning. .Your help will be much appreciated!!! Yours is I believe: Nvidia Optimus, won't work on any macOS version.. while my laptop comes with IntelHD Graphics Disabled (means: only Single Nvidia GT 520M is active) though if I attach my i3-2330M CPU on another laptop with similar Sandy chipset; I'll get integrated Intel HD3000 graphics so.. seems disabled through BIOS vendor mechanism (and there's no graphics switch option on BIOS). 31 minutes ago, SavageAUS said: How did you manage to get PCI devices to populate? Yeah, I think why not? What you need are specific device ACPI Root addresses, and _DSM Methods. (not sure about naming; I've not touched my DSDT-SSDT since long long time ago #LoL)

Badruzeus
So, I forgot to update my 10.14.3 Recovery partition. Then, I use "dm" binary from MacOS_Updater repo. But it seems, it' s no longer working or did I make mistake on my commands below? Any idea @fusion71au @gengik84 and others? Thanks.

Hi, I think you are misusing dm, see the correct one here: https://github.com/Gengik84/MacOS_Updater/blob/master/MacOS_Updater#L467 L468 stands for the usage of APFS, and 470 is for things other than APFS. Yeah, my bad.. I previously was using wrong *.dmg from 10.13.6 package (not 10.14.3).. I don't think bcoz versions missmatch between two but I remember when extracting RecoveryHDMeta using: "pkgutil --expand [source] [target]" it warned me with *.pkg corruption #LoL. (weird, it' s still mountable), then I forced to continue with extraction using Pacifist.app, that's why. I've re-downloaded a fresh macOSUpd10.14.3RecoveryHDUpdate.pkg from catalogs, re-applying above commands and now it works as expected (just forgot taking screenshot with succeeded one). Thanks anyway yeiy..!!! Edited January 24, 2019 by Badruzeus
asharkey
Updated via system preference fro 10.14.2 to 10.14.3 successfully. However I've lost location services for Siri and Maps. Anyone else? I've tried a little trial and error troubleshooting but no luck... SysPref->Privacy->Location Services is enabled with all settings checked. I've tried to disable and enable, but not luck. I tested booting from a backup 10.14.2 install/uefi (pre update) and Location Services worked. Prior to OSX update I also updated to latest clover, WEG, Lilu, AirportBrcmFixup, AppleALC. So I tested by downgrading all of the above one at a time to the previous state, and still no Location services on 10.14.3 I've used kext utility to repair any broken kexts. My build is using a native Broadcom BCM94352Z Dell DW1560 and BrcmPatchRAM2.kext + BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext Any thoughts?
