10.13.5 final? No.. shut up.

We will release 10.13.6 beta1 first:

Let the customers go nutz...

Who cares about the next final realese? We set our focus on betas only for the rest of the year. With our public beta program, every new beta seems to be the next "final release" for our customers.

Hmmm found an issue with mounting ESP using CC, doesn't work anymore.

here, too. Using Mickeys ESP Mounter Pro <--- is NO longer able to mount EFI Partitions

the Applescript EFI-Mounter-V3 indeed IS still able to mount EFI partitions.

macOS 10.13.6beta1 is the first macOS since 10.13.3 which will have no longer broken HDMI sound-output from my Radeon RX480 to my Denon AVR using 8-chanel sound output.

Up to the latest 10.13.5 beta i have to change some AMD kexts back to their 10.13.3 release version - otherwise HDMI soundoutput would have "outtakes" from time to time - sometime it was so bad that there was completely no sound to hear. Never the less i just play systemsounds or HiRes Videos in VLC player.

Now with new beta1 it seems they fixed that finaly

ESP Mounter Pro gives me permission denied

SGZPxel.png

CC just doesn't do anything when clicking the button. Guessing its also probably having permission issues

Well its not a permissions issue because even running both apps with sudo didn't work.

Just try this:

open the App with right click and select "open as Administrator"

Oh, wait... this feature is not buildin up to macOS 25.101.4

the issue with the ESP seems to be related to the command:

diskutil mount /dev/diskXs1

no longer working, instead

sudo mkdir /Volumes/efi

sudo mount -t msdos /dev/diskXsX /Volumes/efi

which is used in most guides about how to mount it an a mac, still works, most programs did prefer the 1st command because it does not requre to mess with the sudo and authemntication
