Im using natit on ToH leopard install. natit still works the same. If you are using a x1600 series card you can try using one of these installs:

I used it for a agp x1650 and it worked great. The installers use atiinject which is basically an older version of natit for ati cards. I replaced the atiinject.kext with a natit.kext. Still no dual display, but at least qe/ci are working.

 

i have a nvidia geforce 7300 gs, don't think this will work for me.

hi, how are you all, i have the ASUS EAX1600PRO and nothing work for me, please some one help me, some method? i edit manually, patch and nothing my version is 10.4.10 tubegirl

I have an x1600pro working mostly complete but i have a cheapish lcd panel which requires 1440x900 res to not look blurry. it appears by looking in about this mac that it hasn't detected the panel. maybe one of you guys will know the answer of how to get my native res. cheers.

Well I've got some good news to report ... sort of:

 

See the system in my sig - I installed the natit_ati auto that was posted from this thread ... and then updated the Info.plist file with the dual_x1600 .plist that was also posted here.

 

I have two dell 2407WFP monitors - both using VGA (one is straight to the VGA out on my card, the other is to a DVI->VGA adaptor plugged into the DVI output on my card).

 

If I boot up with both plugged in, my DVI->VGA connected monitor just goes to sleep, and if I disconnect it and reconnect it ... then OSX only detects the one display (but I get mirrored output -the same thing shows up on both displays).

 

If, however, While OSX is booting up (the grey apple screen) I quickly disconnect my DVI->VGA monitor for a few seconds, and then plug it back in ... OSX will boot up, and the screens will flicker a few times, and then I'll get a proper working extended desktop, with both monitors detected. The VGA is a bit fuzzy, and I'm not sure if this is an OSX problem, or the {censored} VGA cable that I'm using that's wrapped around power cords and loads of other {censored} :(

 

The extended desktops will usually stay working for around 5 minutes, and then something happens and the screen goes blank, and when it comes back, I'm stuck with the detection of only a single display (but again, the display is mirrored, and actually showing up on both monitors)

 

If I need to post any outputs or logs to help people out, let me know, as I spent alot of time trying to get this working since 10.4.5 ... and sadly I'm giving up on this card, and I've bought an MSI 7600GS with dual DVI outputs, which should work fine with Natit_Dual.

Hey BMW, i've tryied to install my x1600pro pci-e 512mb on my leopard with your same leopard(TOH) but it doesn't work. Can u Post a detailed step-by-step about to do here? I mean how step-by-step after first boot of LEOPARD (what file i must download, what to do at single step)

Gurus,

 

I have ATI ES1000 on my DELL PowerEdge Server .... The graphics card is identified with Kalyway's latest Leopard 10.5.1 DVD with Natit drivers, but after the found: ATI ES1000...Starting.....

 

Nothing comes up ... screen becomes blank ... 10 mins/30 mins no activity ....

Hi all,

 

I want to test this driver

but is "ATI X1300" here, referring to ATI X1300 (with 256 / 512 Ram) or referring also to ATI Mobility X1300?

 

I have a ATI Mobility X1300, will it ever works? (I tried and got a blanked screen, was thinking if that is related to some wrong procedure that I did) and which instruction one should I follow?

Hiz.. i've managed to make my system boot up ToH rc3 leopard.. but.. heh.. the 1024x768 screen seems nasty enough to get me nightmares..

 

i have an club x1950pro 256mb.. is there any hope for me.. (i've seen there are people here that have the same chipset..)

 

is Natit (edited or other) the one to use so my card works..

 

or maybe some package from http://diabolik1605.com/DHF/

 

plus.. i need some help on installing it.. are installers on the zips on the 1st post of this thread? if not.. some guidance plz

Hi there,

i'm trying to get this working on Leopard for four days now - i'm really annoyed :P

 

 

first: natit is the only driver that recognizes my graphics card correctly as QuadroFX3400 and changes resolution (correctly) to 1280x1024. Even dual screen is possible with one dvi-display and one dvi->vga adapter (didnt try anything else). But it doesnt support QE/CI.

 

If i edit the natit.kext, the nvdaresm.kext and the nvdanv40hal.kext, the system stops booting with the "restart your computer" screen. last thing i see in -v is "nvda::start(display) <1> failed". and before that "display : family specific matching fails"

 

if i boot up with -x and remove the natit.kext i can reboot properly without (-x), the resolution is still 1280x1024 and the card is still recognized correctly.

 

if i remove nvdaresm.kext, the resolution is set back to 1024x768 but i can boot properly. the card is still recognized correctly. And there is no message saying start(display) failed..

 

 

In this (OSx86.org) table the card is said to be supported (=with QE/CI) correctly by natit 0.0.2 (but with Tiger).

(search for 3400)

it beautifully recognizes the onboard video now, but i still dont have resolution change , nor QE/CI

guys, anyone knows, how to get QE/CI working on ATI Mobility Radeon x600 ?

(Device ID 0x3154) i have managed to change resolution using Callisto x300 b6 driver ...

but i really wan't to get QE/CI working :wacko:

(OS 10.4.9)

btw, on 10.5.1 i managed to get CI Sowtware Suppot, but no QE ...

but i've downgraded to 10.4.9, cause Leo is too buggy

i patched the orig. kext. no natit used

okay to help out i guess all the other 7300GS and 7300GT users are missing out on is dual screen. I guess i just cracked it...

 

Here are my working kexts: Grab them Here <-- not Available till you respect the Dev.

 

now drag and drop those into /System/Library/Extensions/

Authenticate and Replace when prompted

 

now open Terminal and type in the following:

sudo -s (press enter)
  type your password (press enter)
  sudo chmod -R 755 /System/Library/Extensions/Natit.kext/ (press enter)
  sudo chown -R root:wheel /System/Library/Extensions/Natit.kext/ (press enter)
  sudo chmod -R 755 /System/Library/Extensions/GeForce.kext/ (press enter)
 sudo chown -R root:wheel /System/Library/Extensions/GeForce.kext/ (press enter)
  sudo chmod -R 755 /System/Library/Extensions/NVDAResman.kext/ (press enter)
 sudo chown -R root:wheel /System/Library/Extensions/NVDAResman.kext/ (press enter)
  rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions.mkext (press enter)
  rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions.kextcache (press enter)
  diskutil RepairPermissions / (press enter)

 

Quit terminal and reboot.

 

if you get nothing on both screens first try, unplug one and reboot. then hot plug the second monitor then reboot. then it should pop up like mine did.

*the only thing that dosent work properly is mirror display mode and i havent tried svideo out*

please post if this works for you or not.

 

its working on my XFX 7300GS : Heres my card same make and model and where i got it.

 

anybody with a 7300GS who doesn't want to "respect the Dev", i've got dual vga monitors working with NVinject 0.2.1

the key seems to be the NVCAP value: 04000101080002000d0000000000010a00000000 (put it in the NVCAP field in the info.plist inside the NVinject.kext, remember to set the correct permissions etc.)

found in this thread: http://nvinject.free.fr/forums/viewtopic.php?t=102 which has details on how to set correct permissions etc. for those who don''t know.

 

maybe off topic for this thread, but i felt like, you know, helping others…

Can you please explain how you managed to get it working with full QE/CI under 10.5.2 ??

Mine was good until I updated everything to 10.5.2 ... :P

Tried everything since then but no luck ... Please tell us how you did it ...
