I will step through every step in the script to verify on a different system, report back in a bit

Thank you

Ok found some issues with the previous scripts I made, mainly out-of-order of commands should be good now, please test and give me feedback to verify that its corrected now.

Nvidia WebDriver:Payload Repackager.zip

Updated the script to use plutil instead of sed when changing plist values, also added it to my Gogs Server to keep it maintained.

         IMPORTANT UPDATE

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Follow instruction in the README.pdf ➤  Video  :D

NOTE:  From the WebDriver-378.10.10.10.20.107 Packages for High Sierra 10.13.1

Nvidia remove the flag for the SIP security in the WebDriver Packages-378.10.10.10.20.107 You do not have to modify the scripts for this package

Also I did not need any extra kext for my GeForce GT 1030 with this Package

Used this program with SIP Disable and Gatekeeper disable

If you install Third Party kexts with the program and you are not sure, you can
set permission and previleges to your kext before rebooting

You can always have the programme in my Sig Nvidia Payload Packager

Download Attaching file

Enjoy!

I still have the problem that the 2D desktop performance seems to be pretty low on a 4K screen, at least for some apps. On the other hand the OpenCL performance is quite ok. So is there a way to increase the idle frequency of the Nvidia graphics in the kexts?

I ordered this monitor :

I will try to install macOS High Sierra, and if i can't, i'll try to get a mac mini
Are there any mac mini, with support for 4k and 60 Hz ?
Thank you

It's out now for macOS 10.13.1, update macOS first then update this

Make sure you've updated to the 121 driver for 10.13 (17A405) before you run the Software Update to 10.13.1, as the 121 driver fixes the panic/reboot loop issue found in the earlier 10.13 drivers.  Alternatively, you can just delete the NVDAStartupWeb.kext from /Library/Extensions.

or you can also use gengik84 kext to boot in vesa and this is working well for newer card

30bit/10bit color works now! Using latest web drivers 378.10.10.10.20.107 and 10.13.1 (final release).

Is it working by default or we still need to use the 3rd party software to change the color depth?

default here

you see it in display 30 bit instead 24bit

grazie Nvidia

I haven't updated my macOS 10.13 to 10.13.1 on the main PC yet, I will as soon as my backup is done.
