Hi MaLd0n thank you very much for your time and effort, I am still having a problem with Sleep/Wake - 'Wake Reason: XDCI' - but no need to stress as you've cleaned up my DSDT much better than my feeble effort and also correctly populated and displayed my PCI list. By way of gratitude I have sent you a donation so that you can indulge and enjoy your favourite beverage. Thanks again much appreciated.

Good news !!!!!!  :thumbsup_anim: After doing a bit of poking around I found the definite cause of my - 'Wake Reason: XDCI' - (Sleep/Wake). It's my Wifi/Bluetooth card, not the inbuilt one which is useless for OS X, but the one I installed which is supposedly compatible for a Hackintosh. I will now try to source a genuine Apple Card to insure correct operation, so I am open to all recommendations for such a card and where from. Thanks.

Ok peeps hold off on the recommendations I found a card from my Sierra days (and the wife keeps nagging when are you going to get rid of all this junk you're not using?) made a few alterations and wallah!!!! all is well she sleeps like a new born :thumbsup_anim: . Will be testing over the coming days but I am confident problem solved. The strange thing is, the card I just took out works perfect apart from preventing the rig from sleeping had 3 antennas, the one I just adapted and installed has 4 so go figure. Needless to say problem solved.

Olá Maldon!

Bom dia/good morning!

Changed my system recently to:

  • Motherboard: Gigabyte AORUS Z390 Xtreme, with latest BIOS F5 (link)
  • CPU: Intel i9900K
  • Graphics card: Sapphire Vega VII 16MB
  • Bluetooth/Wifi: ABWB 802.11AC WI-FI With Bluetooth 4.0 PCI-Express BCM943602CS

Still own:

  • PSU: Corsair HX1000i, with USB header connected on IOService:/AppleACPIPlatformExpert/PCI0@0/AppleACPIPCI/XHC@14/XHC@14000000/HS13@14d00000
  • AIO CPU cooler: Corsair H110i GTX, with USB header also connected to above
  • Firewire: Firewire Card 800

Installed 10.4.4 (then update to 10.4.5) following mostly this guide.

For CPU Power management, the BIOS 0xE2 MSR register is unlocked (followed this guide)

Issues:

  • I've followed a guide to get my USB ports under 15, but I think all my SSxx ports are not working at their highest speeds and I'm not charging my iPad at its highest current - Can you please fix all of them on new DSDT?
  • Sleep only works if I unplug the USB headers of PSU & AIO CPU cooler - Can you please disable them on new DSDT?
  • Sometimes I get random sudden reboots on 10.4.5...
  • Power button doesn't power off PC...
  • Slow boot...
  • Sound works perfectly if starting from cold boot. If rebooting to macOS from windows, sound does't work - Is this fixable ?

Do you need my BIOS screenshots/selections ?

I've attached my Clover F4 ACPI files capture at boot and the sendme files also.

Can you please compile me an SSDT that also tackles my above issues ?

Muito Obrigado/Thanks a lot - "Beer" donated!!

Paulo

Dear MaLd0n,

Thanks so much for your effort, after applying your DSDT patches, everything works fine except the sleep is still the same (instant wake), and the screen is flickering sometimes.

I checked the syslog and the Wake reason is:

(AppleACPIPlatform) AppleACPIPlatformPower Wake reason: XHC

Can you please give me a solution for this?

My laptop is: Acer Predator Helios 300 G3-572-79S6.

I don't know maybe it is involved in SSDT (I'm not expert).

Thanks so much. Beer donated.

You are the man,  thanks so much. Everything works fine now, I even can wake my system by keyboard (except by mouse).

One more thing, my laptop is dual GPUs (Intel hd630 & gtx 1060, optimus technology I think), so I can only use Intel GPU, right? No way to active Nvidia card?

Have a nice day.

Cheers.

I doesn't remember how to check NVRAM work correctly.

In "About my mac" System report: what means PCI "Patched byMaLdOn" not installed

Sorry for my bad english

EDIT: same issue at first restart

What do you think of that: on Clover Topic, Slice said: "Chipset 390 has no support for real NVRAM even with AptioMemoryFix. You have to install EmuVariableUefi-64.efi."

Question: macOS display "Intel 11 series chipset" without DSDT, "Intel 10 series chipset" with DSDT.

What it means, I don't understand: Patched bt MaLdOn - olarila.com -->No--->Built In

don't need EmuVariableUefi-64.efi, ur nvram work now, i think the problem is about weg or virtualsmc or clover or about intel quick sync, try without intelHD enable for check if work, the problem appears in boot from system

need investigate

I think too for EmuvariableUefi-64.efi. :)

Except at first boot, no problem now. I will try the new DSDT. And report.

Thanks for your help :thumbsup_anim:

EDIT: Replace DSDT in EFI Folder, Panic again at first restart. Maybe cause by VirtualSMC. I will use FakeSMC instead.
