It seem like developing a few kernel branches is a good idea. It might make solving problems easier in the future, by a kind of a differential diagnosis if you like.. It works with my X1600 with 10.4.8 drivers WITH QE AND QI AND RESOLUTION!!! amazing for the drivers! testing dvi now! I will let ya know if it works! Ahm, It was a 10.4.7 Patched and the combo 10.4.8... but it should work with unpatched 4.4 too! The only thing that wasn't working was the "No execution..." It was disabled in BIOS! activated and IT WORKS HAHAHA! Thanks, kossi!! I've installed it on the same mobo, with 531 prescott. JaS 10.4.6 upgraded to JaS 10.4.7, Apple 10.4.8 combo over it, the Mifki/Vitaliy's kernel and SMBIOS kext. Repaired perms and... it didn't worked. I could go into single user, but the GUI failed. I've managed to get it working with -legacy switch (and disabling hyperthreading in BIOS). However, I can't get QE/CI working on my GMA900. It only works with the 8.8.1 kernel!!! Have the issues in Vitality's kernel been fixed? I've heard of problems opening "About This Mac" and other things. I'm holding off until those issues are completely addressed.
