exitc0de
First post, so tell me if in wrong place . When booting up the pandora installer with both Tora Chi and Bronya kernels I get this kernel panic (see attached). If I don't boot in safe mode I get stuck at CheckSleepCapability as well. Is this a problem with the kernel or my setup, and is there a fix? The flags I used are listed in the image. My specs:AMD FX-6300 MSI 970a G43 AMD Radeon R9 270 I also attached pandora's box settings. Thanks in advance 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/304855-kernel-panic-with-bronya-tora-chi-1010-kernels/ Share on other sites

And start install from Install_Yosemite ! Sorry, I get the kernel and extensions, but what do you mean by copying dvd Yosemite on partition? Also, what do you mean about installing Yosemite at the end of your post? I'm new to hackintoshing so I apologise for my ignorance . (So far, I have my pandora's box installer usb with the kernel carlo gave, I will then put the extra folder he gave me, then the extensions - then what? repair permissions, then boot?) I personally used to install Pandora Yosemite not to be no problem with AMD and your hardware does not go away from my then try to make the usb With Pandora no support for Tony bla bla bla Ok, I did exactly what you said, replaced everything, used pandora's box, used your kernel and booted up with USBBusFix=Yes and npci=0x2000 as well as cpus=1 and -v and I now get the same message, invalid kernel opcode (64 bit) several times a second in a loop. Is there anything I can do at all to fix this or will there be a new kernel that fixes this? If not, I will probably buy an intel cpu. icex3
I have akin troubles with sleep/shutdown and getting Steam to run in wine without panicking. It`s more likely been triggered by wine itself though; when i tried to create an empty wrapper in wineskin winery system just reboot shortly after the configuration window appears without any reports about it being dumped in DiagnosticReports folder. (first encountered in niresh 10.10.1 bsa amd kernel r7d + patched System.kext, AppleACPIPlatform.kext, IOPCIFamily.kext, http://imgur.com/viybn2u) I did a fresh USB install from the original App Store OS X Yosemite image with bronya`s rc3 kernel replacement and NullCPUPM, VoodooHDA(2.8.4)//PS/2(1.8.14), AppleACPIP, IOPCIF, RealtekRTL8111 (ver. 1.2.3) kexts because niresh distro was too buggy (random freezes, no gui loaded, etc) and refused to boot by clover. Adding maxmem=4028 in config.plist boot-args seemed to work out a few boots but system soon ended up in a dumpster shape with corrupted video driver during my incompetent attempts to mess with kexts, bios settings and clover fixes at the same time. (http://coub.com/view/59lkg). Now I have OS X Yosemite 10.10 (bronya rc5 kernel) + clover rev. 3176 installed on my hdd with aforementioned kexts placed in /EFI/CLOVER/kexts/10.10/ except patched AppleACPIP and IOPCIF in /S/L/E/ with several DSDT fixes enabling improperly functioning shutdown (instead of a kp and following after it reboot it does throw a kernel trap kp report that looks alike when Steam crashes the system in DiagnosticReports right before reboot / turning my pc off). With msi=0x90 I don’t get panic reports including nvda and com.apple.driver.appleacpiplatform in backtrace, only ones mentioning cpu fault kernel trap, memory corruption, kalloc errors (sorry don’t have an example, old log files are overwritten). Also worth to mention it here that Steam runs without causing a kp if there are opened 3-4 system utils and a browser with >6 tabs so the problem can hide in ram handling by the kernel. icex3
@gils83 i couldn't get os x to boot up with edited config you posted and clover 2695, it always gets stuck at iobluetoothhcicontroller string, though it worked with 3176 and shutdown functioned correctly steam still caused panics I put back backup with my old /CLOVER/ catalog and initial config but encountered the same behavior (even native steam game dota 2 cause system to reboot with the same kernel trap kp when i tried to access in-game settings, cinebench r15 OpenGL test and glxgears never triggered any kps yet). I replaced appleacpi and iopci kexts in case of corruption and rebuilt kextcache again, now the situation is as it was before: kp after system halts and auto-reboot. Maybe there's a conflict between NVDA.kext and RealtekRTL8111 or Voodoo drivers, I've seen Mieze (RRTL8111 driver dev) post mentioning that npci=0x2000 flag should be avoided and possibly can be the reason of network driver malfunctioning. http://imgur.com/PqbBGad,dwjyPEH Anonymous UUID: 0882B8FE-6A3B-1358-E2EB-B0B910D3A08B Wed Mar 4 03:44:06 2015 *** Panic Report *** panic(cpu 2 caller 0xffffff8009425f4a): Kernel trap at 0xffffff8009766021, type 13=general protection, registers: CR0: 0x000000008001003b, CR2: 0x00007fb11b0bb000, CR3: 0x00000000069bc000, CR4: 0x0000000000040660 RAX: 0x0000000000000010, RBX: 0xffffff8018fd4960, RCX: 0xff9fffd4ff61ffb2, RDX: 0xff39ff5aff65ffb3 RSP: 0xffffff80a5333a50, RBP: 0xffffff80a5333c30, RSI: 0x0000000054f6efd0, RDI: 0xffffff8009aca0c0 R8: 0x0000000000000001, R9: 0x0000000000000000, R10: 0x0000000000002000, R11: 0x0000000000000010 R12: 0xffffff8009afeaa0, R13: 0x0000000000000000, R14: 0xffffff8018fcbf68, R15: 0xffffff8017032008 RFL: 0x0000000000010282, RIP: 0xffffff8009766021, CS: 0x0000000000000008, SS: 0x0000000000000010 Fault CR2: 0x00007fb11b0bb000, Error code: 0x0000000000000000, Fault CPU: 0x2 mp = 0xffffff8016d74c00, phys = 0x726cc00, prev (0x2: 0x1000000-0x1100000) vp = 0xffffff8016d74c00, phys = 0xc9333960, prev (0x2: 0xb6ee000-0xea09000) 0xffffff8016d73000: 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 0xffffff8016d74000: 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 0xffffff8016d75000: 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 Backtrace (CPU 2), Frame : Return Address 0xffffff809e435e10 : 0xffffff800933f991 0xffffff809e435e90 : 0xffffff8009425f4a 0xffffff809e436050 : 0xffffff8009440c93 0xffffff809e436070 : 0xffffff8009766021 0xffffff80a5333c30 : 0xffffff8009767a09 0xffffff80a5333cf0 : 0xffffff800975bdc5 0xffffff80a5333d20 : 0xffffff800954413b 0xffffff80a5333dd0 : 0xffffff8009759347 0xffffff80a5333eb0 : 0xffffff800955dd6b 0xffffff80a5333ed0 : 0xffffff80095483f4 0xffffff80a5333f40 : 0xffffff80095525f7 0xffffff80a5333f50 : 0xffffff800984ee72 0xffffff80a5333fb0 : 0xffffff8009441496 BSD process name corresponding to current thread: launchd Boot args: -v dart=0 darkwake=8 npci=0x2000 kext-dev-mode=1 msibase=0x90 Mac OS version: 14A389 Kernel version: Darwin Kernel Version 14.0.0: Thu Feb 12 18:42:32 MSK 2015; #McFly
deleted dsdt and use Clover 2695 uefi and use : AMD replace kext for Yosemite change fsb , frequency cpu and flag GPU I try clean install 10.10.4 with kernel Bronya and Tora Chi Yo, both on two opcode error Kernel Tora Chi Yo opcode infinite and no load the OS (last) kernel Bronya opcode and restarting my machine. with or without the package 10.10.4 from Gils83 i'm using Clover bootloader with and without fsb=200 MHz on config.plist SMBios MacPro 3,1 with DSDT, no error and no warning. Motherboard: ASUS M3A78 Processor: Phenom II x4 945 | fsb 201 busratio 15 | 3015 MHz One small advance.... Or Not! already researched this forum an explanation,I follow the guidelines of the developers and testers in [AMD] Yosemite Kernel Testing and I got it install but does not work the video acceleration, bluetooth and after a few minutes the machine restarts. I had the 10.10.3 version installed and running normal just needed add some kexts as AMDx4000.kext (rollback) and FakeSMC, NullCPU, SuperVIAATA. Sorry my english, it is bad.... #McFly
reboot flag : -f with chameleon and rebuilt cache system with kext wizard Outside the kexts IOPCI, AppleACPI and pthread, has another new kext to put in S / L / E? -v and NPCI = 0x2000 (always) I've tried -x or -f nothing yet the worst is that I need the system to work for work and my iMac is dismantled and is too slow to work, do not know what else to do, I've tried everything. i don't know english right, sorry i go try infinitely, one hour i reach Edited July 17, 2015 by #McFly Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/304855-kernel-panic-with-bronya-tora-chi-1010-kernels/#findComment-2153738 Share on other sites
theconnactic
the worst is that I need the system to work for work and my iMac is dismantled and is too slow to work I had the 10.10.3 version installed and running normal just needed add some kexts as AMDx4000.kext (rollback) and FakeSMC, NullCPU, SuperVIAATA. You just answered the solution for your afflictions: revert to 10.10.3 for now. It makes no sense having the latest and less-tested point version in an AMD hackintosh when you need it for making a living. In fact, using an AMD hackintosh professionally is living on the edge, always. 3 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/304855-kernel-panic-with-bronya-tora-chi-1010-kernels/#findComment-2153762 Share on other sites

Basically, always install a working system on your main hard drive !! (In an emergency return to Yosemite 10.10. 2 or 10.10.3) to always test on an extended partion or better installed on an external hard drive and test, everything else is not recommended if you use your hackintosh for their daily work. your test run with Yosemite 10.10.4 with amd Kernel by Tora Chi Yo, you wrote that you have received an OPCODE Error. What is the Error Message? please describe the OPCODE Error Message in detail or make an image of the error message and upload it here. Maybe you can fix the problem as in the other older beta versions by exchanging system drivers or by adjusting the kernel. The kernel adjustments should then be made by Tora Chi Yo or Bronya ? 2 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/304855-kernel-panic-with-bronya-tora-chi-1010-kernels/#findComment-2153803 Share on other sites
