  2. this will solve you beach ball spinning infinite grey/white screen {censored} ok i got this working the procedure is as follows on two different boards asus m5a97 evo r2.0 gigabyte 990fxa-ud3 and two different graphics cards gigabyte ati hd 79870 2gb xfx hd5770 my processor is a amd fx 8350 32gb ddr3 gskill ram I AM ALSO USING GPT i can now easily play might and magic x legacy on full graphics settings ok i used a certain kernel and the stock graphics drivers if you wish to change that it may or may not work ok procedure you now need to have kext wizard handy you need to head over to here for the AMD kernel http://www.insanelym...ttach_id=157955 inside that file is the kernel and the system.kext now you need to go over to here to grab the other two kext IOPCIFamily.kext + AppleACPIPlatform.kext for yosemite http://www.insanelym...t-for-yosemite/ you will also need amd webkit patch http://www.insanelym...ttach_id=154087 now i want you to place all kext on the desktop if you have backed up your graphics drivers during or after the install you should be able to boot with just npci=0x2000 PCIRootUID=1 -v if not you will also need to add -f -x now once you are at your desktop you need to move the kernel over to System/Library/Kernels so rename your original kernel to kernel.backup1 then overwrite it with the new one you will then open up kext wizard and use the install pane to install system.kext IOPCIFamily.kext AppleACPIPlatform.kext (also if you backed up your graphics drivers nows the time to reinstall them) then i want you to keep kext wizard open and install the amd webkit patch after installation has finished go back to kext wizard and repair permissions (click both boxes on the bottom half) then reboot some of you still may have to use -v and -f i have mine booting with full acceleration without -f -v enjoy

    Kernel for AMD FX 8120

Hi, Currently I am running AMD FX 8120 with 10.9.0 and I want to update it 10.9.2. Is there any available Kernel for me? I have looked into the bronya rc3. Is this will works for me?
  4. I have posted in the chat about this problem, and since it didn't get solved I am going to bring it to the forum USB Sound Card = http://www.amazon.com/Channel-External-Sound-Audio-Adapter/dp/B007HISGRW/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1389232335&sr=8-3&keywords=USB+Sound+Card Audio Device = Realtek ALC892 OS: Mavericks Bootloader: Chameleon BootFlags before attempts to fix: npci=0x2000 busratio=20 GraphicsEnabler=No BootFlags after: -F amd_kernel busratio=20 npci=0x2000 GraphicsEnabler=Yes AtiConfig=Putoro Note: The USB Sound Card works fine on Other OS'es, including Windows 8 and Ubuntu 12.04 When I reinstalled Mavericks on 10.9.1 from 10.9 using Bronvoka's kernel http://www.osx86.net/files/file/3657-amd-fx-109-mavericks-kernel-nvidia-work/) I was using my USB Sound Card at the time, and then after a while it would start to crackle noise. It wouldn't work right, it would play sound on and off After I while I just used Mavericks without the USB Sound Card plugged in, and I would go about my business. One day I just plug it in as a last resort to getting it to work. It starts working! Only unless I try to restart chrome after attempting to play music. It was working fine until I wanted to roll back to 10.9. I tried rolling back to 10.9 using the same kernel, this time it was the same thing but way worse. The USB Sound Card would not play sound right with any quality, having the same clicking and popping and whatnot noise. When I started to look at the videos I was playing the music in, the video would terribly lag. I knew this wasn't normal, since I have a very powerful card. So what someone of the support chat of this website said was to try to install VoodooHDA.kext. So I did. I finally got the kext working, getting it to notice the audio device, etc etc When I tried playing music or any of the sounds on the system, SAME THING AS THE USB SOUND CARD Crackling, popping, sounds sounding like it was bad connection to the device, but really not.. Again I tried getting help on the Support chat, and they suggested since I have an AMD Radeon Graphics Card, that might be the issue I tried GraphicsEnabler=Yes, and I would get a memory allocation error (because I have an AMD Processor) WHAT I ALSO TRIED IS USING A NEW KERNEL (http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/Patched_Kernels) Andy V's kernel for 10.9 The second on the list for 10.9 (http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/files/file/173-109-kernel-xcpm-free/) So what I tried doing is manually adding in my own set of boot flags I TRIED WITHOUT NPCI and that led me to a white screen I tried everything in The ATIConfig, and Putoro led me to a successfull boot BUT NOT WITHOUT THE NPCI FLAG (0x2000) After I thought that would let me be able to play sound properly, but AGAIN Putoro AND GE set to Yes would NOT GET MY USB SOUND CARD OR VOODOO WORKING I tried playing with Mid AUDIO SETTINGS (especially setting to 414000). Not work I need some way to get one working because I think the problems in the quality of the output of sound are related.. And I believe the problems might be Graphics related but I am not sure ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED.

I am currently running OSX 10.8.3 in VMWare which is OK but lags a fair bit and lacks any kind of 3d acceleration and would like to be able to dual boot it natively alongside windows on the 150GB HDD. 10. First post, so tell me if in wrong place . When booting up the pandora installer with both Tora Chi and Bronya kernels I get this kernel panic (see attached). If I don't boot in safe mode I get stuck at CheckSleepCapability as well. Is this a problem with the kernel or my setup, and is there a fix? The flags I used are listed in the image. My specs: AMD FX-6300 MSI 970a G43 AMD Radeon R9 270 I also attached pandora's box settings. Thanks in advance

    2560x1080 21:9 Ultrawide Problem

Hi, I've been a hackintosh user for a while now and I've managed to successfuly build several builds (incl. from 10.5 till Yosemite). I've bought a LG Ultrawide monitor (25UM57-P) and since then I've been struglin' to enable the full resolution. I've already read everything that google brings up, but didn't found anything to fix that. I am runnin with full QE/CI and VGA works OOB but the pixels look terrible and all I see is blurry text. The monitor is shown as a Television on my hackintosh (even on MBP 2009, MBP 2010, MBP 2014). The "Force to RGB Mode" fix didn't help If somebody is familiar with the problem, please respond as I get very desperated here.. Thanks in advance! All the best My specs: MB: ASUS m5a99x Evo r2.0 CPU: AMD FX 6300 3.5 ghz RAM: 16 gb Corsair Vengeance Pro 1600 VGA: Sapphire 6870 1 GB GDDR5
