Fixed some error code and compile parameter(This may be the reason K8 to opcode 64. I Unable test)

PS:

If K8 AM2 Processor appear opcode 64 MSG

Please use the diff file Patch XNU Source To compile

Because K8 processors Missing some CPU instructions

Compared with K10

Current K8 processor missing the following instructions:

FXSR(FXSAVE/FXRSTOR) Mon(MONITOR) POPCNT 1GBPAGE EM64T LZCNT PREFETCHW RDTSCP

The new processor to compile May produce a new instruction optimization opcode

Old processor don't support the new instructions to opcode 64 MSG

so ....

Compile on their own machines

Compatibility degree would be better

Thanx for the kernel i use SSEPlus version and it works flawlessly. i think even faster then L version and without opcode errors

in German:

1) erstelle von deiner lauffähige Yosemite version ein Backup auf eine andere Partition, benutze das Festplattendienst- Programm

2) lade dir grundsätzlich immer das Combo Update und installiere das Update auf deine test partition.

3)..dann boote von deiner lauffähige Yosemite Partition...

4)..entferne den Vanillia Kernel aus System/Library/Kernels ....füge den Aktuellen AMD Kernel rein..

5) benenne den Ordner /System/Library/Extensions/ in zB. a_Extensions um (oder löschen)

6) kopiere den /Extensions/ Ordner aus deiner lauffähige Yosemite Version in die Test Partition

7) Die Zugriffsrechte reparieren und Cache erneuern....

8) system neu starten ...boote von deiner Test Partition.... das wars

3) .. then boot from your Executable Yosemite partition ...

4) .. remove the Vanillia kernel from System/Library/kernels .... add the current AMD kernel.

5) rename the folder System/Library/Extensions/ in eg. to a_Extensions

6) copy the /Extensions/ folder from your Executable version Yosemite into System/Libraray/ on your testing partition

7) repair permissions using kext wizard or myHack tool etc ... and renew the kernel cache

8) then restart your system ... boats from your test partition ....: D that's it ... nothing more to do

Forgive me if it's a silly question but I don't understand what's the interest of replacing the entire Extensions folder of the new Yosemite version by the old one from the previous build ?

Basically, it means that there's no changes between the two, apart the version # in About this Mac ?

I'm sure that kexts mods are not the unique changes that are performed on the whole OS but I'm just wondering if it's not just a sort of bastardization ?

of basically so it will work if you use only the system.kext from the previous version.

Sorry for the stupid question but how do I apply the patch? I have been looking for kernels and tried a load but I always get kernel opcode error. What do I do with the diff file, and do I need it?

Hi guys. I've been getting this error once in a while that causes my computer to lose internet connection and the cpu to go to 90% usage and i have to hard restart.
this happens in all of the new almost perfect kernels, but they also have eliminated 99% of my kernel panics.

Ok .

Fixed tsc.c , rtclock.c ,opemu.c and trap.c.

Is tested and is normal works without "opcode invalid ".

But it can get problem sound ! On FX-cpu sound fine , but on old-cpus have problem sound .

I will try did plan - this tsc.c will read fsb from bootloader

.

P.S. I tested vlc player version 2.0.9 on real iMac12,2 . I indeed received problem sound also how on AMD !!!

Because vlc player version 2.0.9 - this vlc_player bad !

VLC version 2.1.2 is normal .
