By virtualizing SL 10.6? the error already exists!

it is interesting to see that the problem of informing the various mixtures bus did not begin now with SL kernel Nawcom the problem already exists, this value corresponds to 25 Mhz what? HPET the bus operating between 35 and 36 MHz, this is not it.
the problem is deeper ..................

SO 10.9 & 10.10 don’t support the old processor (AMD:K8 754 & 939  Intel: P4 SSE2 CPU )

If the Processor supports CX16
Must Exist SSE3 instruction set

So SSE3 EMU on the OS X 10.9 & 10.10 = Garbage

I have found that 10.9 & 10.10 always got invalid user opemu 64 errors and frozen in my K8 939-pin CPU's MB during booting since 1 year ago. But unable to figure out why and the solution up to now.

If lack of CX16 is the cause of failure, I should give up now.

BTW is it possible to install 10.8.x for those lack of CX16 CPU's MB ?

10.8.5 tested on the K8 939
invalid kernel opcode (64-bit): 48 8B 08 ….

rex-mov_zps8d09bdc2.png

48 8B 08 = mov rcx qword [ds:rax]

this is REX X86 OPcode
K8 939 Don't support the REX Opcode
OPEMU emulation SSSE3 REX Only
if Add REX X86 Workload is huge
I do not have time to deal with

939 on the Lion 10.7.5 Can Works

Thanks for your prompt reply and help.

What did these errors mean and is there any solution to fix them ?

(1) invalid user opcode 64: 98 44 c1 8f ff 7f 00 00 2b 00 00 00 00 00 00 00

(2) Invalid user opcode (64-bit): f0 48 0f c7 0f 75 ef 5b c3 0f

1. IS Old OPEMU Version  98 44 c1 8f ff 7f 00 00  This is RIP 0x00007fff8fc14498 Not OPcode

2. Is Me Version: instruction encoding directly show

The first code : F0 48 0F C7 0F    lock cmpxchg16b qword [ds:rdi]  This Is CX16 opcode

This display mode I'm easy to debug

Try Replace chameleon 2468 & open Terminal : sysctl machdep.cpu

and TEST it

I tested your kernel with 2 bootloaders 2468 and  2538. And i have opcode error though in 2468 there's different one it's  invalid user opcode (64-bit): 0f 0b 8b 47 08 3d ff ff ff 7f. I have no chameleon modules and my smbios is MacPro3,1 if it helps. Also i think system works slower with kernel8m on 2468 rev.

Guys!!

I would really love to test your kernels again, but I can't. So little help from your side would be useful :(

This is my thread http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/304651-yosemite-10100-no-mouse-freezing/

For now I can boot with the newest kernel from Tora Chi Yo 8C...D etc. and Bronya RC5 but this is only boot test and then freeze.

Thanks for the hard work for Coders. Thanks Bronya, thanks Tora Chi Yo, and I am sorry for my absence for a long time :)

i going switch to Intel setup that might be a difference between  AMD FX setup on GPU performance  and i discover that Bronya kernels are way better for AMDfx but kernels like Tora Chi Yo, gils work is total BS !!!!!!!!!! to me excuse my french but that is the truth your kernels didn't improve nothing at all with any high end AMD Cpu's where back to square one to Bronya Rc4 level..what total nonsense with SSEPlus and Rtclock, EFIclock... its a waste of time , we all need to concertrate why on earth i getting less GPU memory bandwidth on Yosemite...i believe has to do with GPu drivers are more {censored} on Yosemite or its the AMDfx..so i going to find out with Intel setup if its yosemite problem or bad kernels

Continue to use V2 of 1010-REV-8L. The best for me now)
