Thanks for the quick responses.  Did not seem like there was a ripple effect when adding a clock to the dashboard.  I will attach a picture of my finder status bar if that is helpful.

It's not that status bar - it's the white menu bar on the top of your screen. If QE/CI is enabled it's semi transparent (you can see the background blend through the white bar), if not it's solid white.

Same here with mobile HD4600.  I added the device IDs into Azul and HD5000 kexts to have this :

<key>IOPCIPrimaryMatch</key>
			<string>0x04168086 0x0c168086 0x0c068086 0x0d268086 0x0a268086 0x0a2e8086 0x0a168086 0x04268086 0x04168086 0x04068086 0x0d228086 0x04128086</string>

I also put fake id to simulate the desktop version, the only result i got is a completely screwed display (100% artifacts).

Hi there,

i have intelHD 4600 Mobile version, i just install yokemite public beta2 with clover on my usb hard drive , i read "gigabyte666" i did install his attached 2 kexts files i restart after fixing permissions and rebuilt cache but did not work at all then i did the trick (see attachments) it work as it is displaying 1536mb but still slow as hell.

i thing there is something else that does not make it work with QE/CI OR Apple is trying to eliminate Hackintoshers and community.

i Hope the issue will be solved A.S.A.P cause i don't like that Apple win and the Hackintosh community loss.

the weird thing is:

my DSDT.aml in the main rot partition, when i opened it with IOreg i found that display is listed as GFX0@2 but not IGPU as i renamed it with MaciASL

could this be cause DSDT.aml not loading or it is in the wrong path.?

Mobile 0x0416 now works on DP7!!!

Just tested and confirmed it myself. For the record, my current ig-platform-id is 0x0a260006. It requires device id injecting into AppleIntelFramebufferAzul and in AppleIntelHD5000Graphics by whatever means works for you. I just took the ids listed from 10.9.4's kexts and injected those into those from DP7. Rebuild caches, reboot and it should work.

It's pretty buggy sadly and not quite ready for prime time. I guess explains why Apple didn't include the ids in the kexts yet. >_>

Hope it helps. Have fun! ^_^

Can you post your DVD player image for confirmation of working QE/CI functions of Mobile 0416 on DP7 ?

That means something like this desktop 0412 working QE/CI functions :

Because everyone using mobile 0416 except you posted not working QE/CI functions yet !

My QE/CI isn't working either. I assumed that was already known from me saying that it was very buggy on my original post of getting it working. You see, DP7 was the first time I actually got both the HD5000Graphics and Azul loaded. So for me, that was a breakthrough. If my excitement for getting those two loaded was misread then I apologize. ;p

Judged by your posted image I don't think your QE/CI functions are fully working in Mobile HD4000, because there is no translucent menu bar shown as these in which mobile HD4600 was working at Mavericks 10.9.4/10.9.5:

Thanks to PikerAlpha I was able to patch AppleIntelFramebufferAzul and get my second port working with the 0x0a160000 ig-platform-id. Also switched my dedicated GPU from GeForce 210 to AMD HD 5450 and now have a total 4 ports working great. HDMI audio still a no go for me though it's not important.

Also Work with 10.9.4

No need to insert device ID. Clover finds automatically.

No need to replace FB kext, it works with stock kext when inserting right platform-id.

Rainbow colored postings sux  :geek:

I don't care :::::::   Mine working with this way so posted :::::  after 294 post no solution than is sux soI don't care "

I have my system on DP7 and my HD4600 is displaying fine.  Is there anyway of eliminating the white fuzzy screen prior to boot.  I also can't let me system sleep otherwise I wake it and get stuck at the white fuzzy screen. Was also getting this screen in 10.9.2 and 10.9.4, but not 10.9.3.  Any ideas would be appreciated.
