Small hint yet. The i3 380M works more stable with VoodooTSCSync.kext in the Clover Kext folder.

With 10.10.5 I get the brightness control with IntelBacklight.kext and DSDT-Patch.

Of course, battery control is model dependent, here with ACPIBatteryManager.kext and DSDT patch everything goes.

I also have i3 380M in my Medion laptop.

SMBIOS - MacBook Pro 6.1

For me 17.3 "display with 1600x900 (Alternate LW1).

Everything works fine in Yosemite and High Sierra.

Disable Nvidia (optimus) in bios or disable it in the DSDT or Bootflag -nv_disable = 1

 

no natit.kext, no EDID injection here

 

All kext are too big for upload.

 

Each 4 Kext from here and my Framebuffer kext from Archiv.zip try (original exchange in S/L/E).

Just now realized that my screen is also the hd screen, that explains why the framebuffer kext worked for me MacPeet.. I was just looking some HD screens too on ebay to see if i could replace it. This whole time, i thought it was a regular lcd screen.

I tried booting with your config.plist. I still cannot boot without fake id 0x12345678. I ran HACK_INFO but it gave me an error saying it cannot access folder. Enclosed is Hackinfo_Report.

I've looked at the patched version of Sierra's native FB kext. It diffs with unpatched at the same 5 locations (for Capitan) and with different LW1.

So I tried a "dirty" patch. Just added a 36 byte Find->Repl pattern which was found in binaries inside the function __ZN22AppleIntelHDGraphicsFB8TrainFDIEiPNS_10CRTCParamsE:

Also I managed, that all known LW1-4 patched differs only in one byte. And no difference between SingleLink and DualLink patches.

 

High Sierra's patterns are slightly different. I have to look sometime later.

Hello Guys,

I have Acer Aspre 5742 i5-480M 2.66GHz processor, Intel HD Graphics and 1366 x 768 Res. I have been trying to install High Sierra using clover method but nothing is working.

I have created USB installer using my Ryzen hackintosh HS 10.13.3. I am not sure which kext files I need and which config.plist is compatible with my laptop.

I tried to follow the guide on first page. I only see System/Library but Extensions in USB installer.

Can someone please advice if I can install High Sierra on my laptop.

I have managed to install high Sierra. Can someone please wifi, bluetooth,trackpad kext files please. Also I have downloaded those files on the first page, i am not fully if they would work.

I am running High Sierra 13.3.3 and I have 1st gen Acer 5742 i5 480m processor with Inter HD graphics.

I have added all kext files to enable the acceleration into S/L/E and used kext utility to repair and rebuild cache. I still don't get full acceleration. What Am I missing Baio77

I have managed to sort out acceleration issue. Thanks for your clover folder you shared few post back with config.plist.orgin that was in the folder. I can boot and have full acceleration@baio77. I have only one problem i don't have trackpad working i tried various ps2trackpad kexts files etc no success. Maybe you can help me.

1) The easiest way that you can create an OS X USB installer with Clover is by using Chris111's Clover 2.3K Special Edition V2 Installer (http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/files/file/471-clover-v23k-special-edition-v2/).

You don't really need to actually. The point of using this Clover is to have access to the native installer files, so that you can delete AppleIntelHDGraphicsFB.kext on the installer.

Just use normal Clover and you can insert FakeID and ig-platform-id as 0x12345678, and you're good to go.

Grab Clover Bootloader (non-modified), and install it.

When it is installed, create a new config.plist from Clover Configurator. Set the SmBios to MacbookPro6,1 or MacbookPro6,2 in SmBios (I use 6,1 because that one has a nearly identical CPU to my i5-m460, but it shouldn't affect in normal uses) and save to your EFI.

Restart, now, before you press install, there is a Clover screen, go to options, Graphics Injector, in the Intel section, there is a FakeID and ig-platform-id, set it as 0x12345678, then return to the screen where you would choose which thing to boot, choose "Install macOS on Install macOS (version)".

Proceed to install as normal. Remember, everytime the machine restarts, you have to set both ig-platform-id and fakeid as 0x12345678.

Hi all,

 

I'm running my Arrandale based laptop (a souped up thinkpad T410 with an i7-640m cpu and 1440x900 display panel, running 10.13.3. I'm using a patched framebuffer from 10.10.x (or if it was 10.11.x) downloaded here and patched with giofridas tool (i.e dual-link and normal FB).

i have successfully been running this patched FB on El Cap, Sierra and now High Sierra.

But now, i sometimes get some sporadic "garbled" graphics when i for example watch a youtube video (and similar). The part of the screen that plays said video will show some odd mosaic-pattern momentarily. Normally, it looks ok, but as soon as anything video-related is playing, it gets weird.

Do anyone recognize this behaviour?

Okay guys I followed the guide but there's a problem.
If I don't inject intel it just won't boot.
It gets stuck on
