Got 10.8 setup on a backup partition. It's working well so far, so I decided to update Cham on my main partition, which is still running Lion, so that it can serve as the boot option for both, and I won't need the usb stick anymore.

Well anyways, I updated Cham from like 1627, to this 2048, and now it doesn't boot my Lion install. It boots ML fine, but with Lion, it freezes at a white screen. More troubleshooting to go! Though I may just jump full on to ML, depending on how great it is on my backup =P.

Edit: Reverted builds, Lion is bootable again.

any idea?

Hi i found this bootflag for chameleon documentation:

io=0xffffffff -v

So, let's say I updated to 2048...wheres the org.chameleon.Boot.plist file? There's no extra folder around anywhere....where is it to edit? Seems like that's a new change. How do i find it to change things? In the chameleon pkg files, you can add flags, so where's the option to change them after the install?

The org.chameleon.Boot.plist is in your /Extra directory. Simply navigate to said directory and manually edit the org.chameleon.Boot.plist via any plist editor.

You missed the part where I said there isn't an extra folder there, nor a .plist file. In the .pkg installer, when you go into the boot options, there's no .plist. So if there's no .plist, why do I get the opportunity to change the options if it doesn't write them anywhere?
