Gato_shin Posted April 17, 2006 Share Posted April 17, 2006 Everytime I start the download the torrent from the greendemon site I get an error about insuficient space, but there is 30 gb of space free!!!! Maybe you're trying to use a FAT32 volumn to download it...... The file is larger then 4GB, so if you're using WinXP, you have to use a NTFS volumn to hold it...... PS: I failed finding the torrent in TPB, then I went to Demonoid...... But the torrent can be downloaded only by their registed users and the registration is closed! ..... Crying...... For all those who are saying they have already DL'd and installed the JaS 10.4.6 install DVD - if you could seed, that would be really awesome. I just did refreshes on TPB and the Demon.... TPB shows 0 seeders and some peers, Demon shows 1 seeder and 205 peers (which is exactly what my BT client is showing). Personally, I always seed 2 to 1 ratio, unless I get 0.0 kb upload for more than 24 hours straight, such as for a file that has 15 or 20 seeders and only 0 or 1 peers. Seeding would show that you Appreciate the Work that was done, and the Community that helped you DL your copy. For those that do seed on a regular basis - you Rock! ---> For anyone who has installed 10.4.5 or 10.4.6 on AMD - did your whole install process move like a snail covered in molasses?? I'm curious because I have a lappy with an AMD64 3400 w/ 1 GB of DDR, and even reading the DVD and going through the initial install screens before it even starts copying to the HD, it is So Slooooowwwww that it makes OSX in VMware look ultra-fast. This same DVD on my Intel 'dev' box runs at super speed, so I know that the DVD is not jacked up. I also know that all my lappy's hardware is okay, becuse in Winblows everything is rock solid. The PPF is no longer available because you also needed to repatch with a 10k ppf . I guess it was just decided to release a complete ISO and remove the PPF. I'm currently around 84% now, and I started the download around 24 hours ago. I have seeded my share @ 10mbit and will continue with it up when im finnished.
