In what sense? What should I do? Please be more clear ;) I know only that my PCI ID is 9501.

Its not the Device ID you must check/edit in the natit.kext.

Its the string Lamna checked/changed into Triakis (all of them in the part for your card) also LamnaParent to TriakisParent.

Those stings are injected for the osx system and they should be Triakis... for using the Triakis and not the Lamna Frambebuffer in ATINDRV.kext.

Hello All!

I have some problem, like others, the dark blue screen at loading, I have connected a card to the monitor through VGA2VGA, because through DVI2VGA at me simply black screen. That it is possible to make with the dark blue screen?

Does anyone have any info, whatsoever, on how I might run my HD3450 with hardware support? I can see everything with No drivers installed, but I can't change the display or use Final Cut Pro. I don't want to buy a new video card. Does anyone have any suggestions? If I do need a new video card, Do you suggest that I go with a 2600xt or a geforce 8600?

Sorry for this. I guess I should have read the last page before I posted. But still, I'd be eternally grateful for some help here.

Hi Everybody, I've been messing around with two videocards that revealed to be somewhat problematic. I've bought an ATI Radeon HD 2400 PRO AGP, but I was never able to use it, even with the driver supplied here. I kept getting a lot of red, black and green dots on the grey Apple logo, and nothing happened.

Most of the time, I couldn't boot in safe mode. Even after reinstalling OSX, I couldn't get it to work.

So, I took the video card to the store and swapped it for a new one, for more 15 euro. A Radeon HD 2600 PRO AGP, device ID 0x9587.

After downloading and installing the driver from this thread, the computer wouldn't even boot. It would freeze on the spinnig whell on the grey Apple logo. In verbose mode, I could see the following error: AGPVIA: found hammer.

And that was it. If I installed NATIT_for_X2000_X3000 I couldn't get QE support. But had CI and could change resolution.

Finally, after doing another clean install, erasing all the kexts on /System/Library/Extensions/ begining by ATIRa... and trying NATIT_for_X2000_X3000, I decided to try Triakis.pkg... and, on top of that, installing the Radeon HD 2600 PRO AGP driver found on the first post. Repaired permissions.. rebooted and now I have CI/QE fully supported.

I'm so happy!

thanks everybody. thanks LastExile!

Yapp;) , have the same

Another vote here with the exact same device ID.... :)

c'mon man, dont say stuff, and then not keep your end.............................................................

its been a day.................

Dude, you need to relax. People do these "fixes" and mods on their own time, they aren't getting paid for it. And to have people like you constantly posting asking repeatedly only leads them down a path of frustration. When it is ready, it's ready, you don't need to post 3 times an hour asking for updates. :)

Ohai

I need feedback on this installer for 2400,3850,3650 and 3870x2 users

Thank you very, very, very much for this installer! Worked like a charm. I now have a fully working hackintosh after all these years! :D I'm very happy right now!

Installed the latest package, everything fine and working, but still no success with DVI.

Thnx.
