I tested the dev 10.11.2 buildbefore and went back to 10.11.1. Had much OpenCL probs (also Preview was slow) Nvidia GT 440. Now with latest Nvidia drivers all probs gone.

I would wait for first 10.11.2 Nvidia drivers if you need often ( normally can use also Apple drivers) that  Nivida web drivers. Patching Nvidia drivers for 10.11.2 didnt work (first time i know) and hack wont boot at all on much users.

Which graphics cards are not working with native drivers?  There are some folks here that do not put their system in their signature, so there is no telling which graphics card they are referring to?

Now that the nVidia drivers have come out, I took the chance, and updated

 

First reboot after updating and installing new drivers, all my USB devices were connected to the USB2 bus. Console.app showed an error claiming that Couldn't alloc class "AppleUSBXHCILPTHB". This with arix98's "remove port limit" patch, and a DSDT patch to inject device-id 8086:8cb1 (which is actually the real device-id, but I am injecting other properties via patch anyway)

I changed the DSDT to actually inject the mobile device id 8086:9cb1 and upon reboot, all device are now properly attached to the USB3 bus and at proper speeds. Instead of LPTHB, I am using the WPT class, which seems to alloc just fine

 

I can't see any other obvious problem (sound, 5GHz WiFi, video, bluetooth incl. handoff) with the build

Boot time slower in 10.11.2 15C27e—mostly from a significant delay between initial BIOS boot screen and Apple logo loading bar screen; this transition used to be instantaneous.

Sleep and wake up is broken there :(

 

Going to sleep is not broken here - but I put my machine in sleep last night, found it half-awake (fans fully spinning, power button light on) but not responsive this morning

Going to sleep is not broken here - but I put my machine in sleep last night, found it half-awake (fans fully spinning, power button light on) but not responsive this morning

I ended up disabling power nap (it was a full wake for my system anyway), and I've had the machine sleep a full day, then woke it up, and not a single beat was missed

I noticed in the "FOCUS AREA" that they mention USB as 1 of the so called fixes. In other words...

 

DID THE UPDATE FIX THE USB3 ISSUE 98.9% of us have with the El Capitan!?!?

 

What USB3 issue? There no real "issue," but you (obviously) have to make the proper changes to deal with El Capitan's new USB stack (such as creating a port injector and renaming EHC1/EHC2 to EH01/EH02 to bypass default port restrictions).
