My name is Roger and im from sweden (tall blondes country) Im 39 years old and i have never used a mac before, yet ive been able to install Lion on my old Presario A900 and everything works
Without this forum and help from wonderful people i would never have made it. My english is not good but i hope you can understand

Hey All!

Thought I'd register now that I've successfully installed 10.5.8 on an old Dell Dimension 3000 (P4 class). I tried hackintosh'ing on a Dell e1505 some years back, but it was never stable enough for daily use. This round seems to have gone a bit better.

Anyway, going to hit up the other forums to get some questions answered so I can get it completely dialed in. See ya around!

Hello.
I passed the test and I am now allowed to post!  I am here to learn how to make a hackintosh.  My son wants to build one, so it will be a father-son project.  I have built a few dozen computers from scratch in the last 20-30 years.  I currently dual boot my own machine with Windows 7 & Ubuntu Studio.
I am looking for an "Idiots Guide to building a hackintosh".  Just get the parts, assemble, and install away!  LOL I am not sure if there IS such a thing.
