Macworld is about a month away, and the rumors are just flowing in! Just today, CNBC claimed that they had inside sources that said that the Apple Tablet does in fact, exist. Hardmac claims to know that Mac OS X 10.5.2 will be released at Macworld '08, bringing along "the largest and most important intermediate system update ever released by Apple." The report also states that the update will bring a new compiler and libraries for Intel processors that will bring significant performance boosts to Intel Macs. Amazing. This comes along with another report saying that the Mac Tablet will be released and WILL run a modified version of OS X.
On the 3G iPhone, it appears that it will be shipping between May and June. That's all.
With the release of 1.1.2 about a month behind us, it seems that Apple is preparing to update the devices as soon as this Saturday. The update is supposed to be pretty large, adding a few new (wanted) features. Such as voice recording and disk mode. But this would probably require a new jailbreak, so if you value your iPhone for the 3rd Party value and not for Apple's value, I would say wait to upgrade.
