macOS High Sierra - Final Release is out! (17A365)

The final release of macOS Sierra are available to download.

 

You can download it from App Store.

 

You can consult the list of useful tips created by @fantomas:

Soon we'll have the methods to create a Penboot to all Hacks.

You can use the createinstallmedia, and after the process been concluded just install Clover in your Pendrive. ;)

sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ High\ Sierra.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/Untitled  —nointeraction

EDIT: The list above will be constantly been updated as we got new methods and fixes.

hi.my new rig is ga-z270-hd3 i7-7700k rx580..but mouse and key board are not working ln log in GUI when setting smbios imac18.3..   all works fine with smbios macpro6.1...what a weird thing.

Yeah, that's weird indeed. Try this, on a USB disk install the latest version of clover, edit the config.plist with all the necessary flags and patches, add the kexts you need and see if that makes a difference.

Fix for ICH10 with High Sierra. Now with hot-plug support.

 

For this we need two binary patches.

First patch fix I/O error for ICH10:

4585F60F 95C289C8 83E0FE66 85C9780F 84D2750B -> 89C883E0 FE6685C9 0F98C141 08CC9090 9090750B

With second patch will work hot-plug:

89C82540 6002003D 40200000 750C81E1 BF7FFFFF 898B5101 0000 -> 90909090 90909090 90909090 90909090 90909090 90909090 9090

With these two patches I got ICH10 with hot-plug.

The patch Hot Plug works on 6 serie and 7 serie  :D

Works also for eSATA Hot Plug :P

My eSATA is on JMB363...

Anyway I don't use eSATA and 5th SATA port which is on JMB too, for now...

It get to sleep but don't wake.

I have the exact same problem on P5KC, P5QL/EPU and HP HDX 16.

So what's wrong? The sleep isn't working anymore on ICH9 and 10?

On Sierra sleep is working on all configurations.

I do not think that the SATA controler has a few things to do with Sleep and Wake
It's more a story of Graphics and DSDT

I didn't say it's related to SATA.

So if is graphics or dsdt, why in Sierra is working and high sierra not, with 3 different configurations...

Wake after sleep issue under hSierra is known problem on some graphics, even with real mac. Take a look this thread.

my nvda also gets this issue as well, if I let Display sleep after certain minutes, windowserver crashes immediately with no i/o respond at all.

 

#EDIT: not sure if ur network is behind pr*xy, use free vpn service instead:

If not Apple bugs, it should able to be fixed for supported graphics. But Nvidia graphics, hmmb.. on hSierra I'm not really sure ha haa.. U know who should give U the correct answer LoL  :P and, I don't wanna make too much assumptions that maybe, wrong. Sorry.

I'm still using iTunes 12.6.2 under macOS 10.13.2 Beta (17C60c).

BTW, how crash issue looks like?  :rolleyes:

 

Just suddenly happen if playing music or keep itunes without play music.
since 10.13 dp1 ~ now, this issue happen. i tried all to fix itunes crash. but can't fix. in sierra, there was no problem.
strangely, sandybridge laptop is no problem. only happen skylake laptop.

10.13.2 beta1's apfs seems to be help for itunes crash. not sure. need to test many times

try this. it seems to help itunes crash.

 

my step

1. put apfs.efi in drivers64UEFI

2. reboot

3. macos start diskutility

4. automately reboot

5. booted osx

 

and tested it. not sure. better than before now.

hi.. mouse works fine after adding xhci200..kext with smbios imac18.3..but the cpu always keeped high frequency..so i changed macpro6.1 again.
