I think it's latest version as was done for Yosemite.
Then pass directly with the new OS X 10.12 Fuji will be presented in June.

Uhm.... the 1st beta of El Capitan was presented in June 8, 2015 and 1 year later it's time to upgrade again (10.12)...... A famous song in the 70s had a verse saying "we called it riding the gravy train"........

Yosemite stopped at 10.10.5, maybe they will do the same thing, perhaps lengthen the bete versions with this 10.11.5

Wondering about that myself at the fast pace of .1 releases.

Between the first beta and the final release, it takes about 2 months (mostly). If we take this into consideration, the final version of 10.11.5 should be released in early June, just before the WWDC (and therefore the first DB).

Just like for Yosemite - In fact, the famous one-year-building-cycle seems to have started since Lion (10.7.5).   ;)

Yep, no release has gone beyond .5 since Snow Leopard, so I'm not expecting this to either. 10.11.5 will be the end of the road for El Cap.
