Apple seeded first beta of 10.11.5...
Allan 6509 Posted April 6, 2016 Yeah! Finally, maybe now we can get a smooth and stable El Capitan version...for me of course... Thanks @fantomas1 1
Ludox 1697 Posted April 6, 2016 I think it's latest version as was done for Yosemite. Then pass directly with the new OS X 10.12 Fuji will be presented in June. Ludox 3
PPCnostalgic 130 Posted April 6, 2016 Uhm.... the 1st beta of El Capitan was presented in June 8, 2015 and 1 year later it's time to upgrade again (10.12)...... A famous song in the 70s had a verse saying "we called it riding the gravy train"........ 1
Ludox 1697 Posted April 6, 2016 this year will extend to 10.11.8 as it was in the past. Yosemite stopped at 10.10.5, maybe they will do the same thing, perhaps lengthen the bete versions with this 10.11.5
Mr. Xtreme 264 Posted April 7, 2016 this year will extend to 10.11.8 as it was in the past. Wondering about that myself at the fast pace of .1 releases.
PippoX0 308 Posted April 7, 2016 Imo Apple will stop at 10.11.5. New MacOs is very near to be released ...
crusher 495 Posted April 7, 2016 Uhm i smelled OZ there Yes Oz is here. Yes and I tested Clover and work same. But Oz is better for me. 1
fantomas 5101 Posted April 7, 2016 this year will extend to 10.11.8 as it was in the past. Between the first beta and the final release, it takes about 2 months (mostly). If we take this into consideration, the final version of 10.11.5 should be released in early June, just before the WWDC (and therefore the first DB). Just like for Yosemite - In fact, the famous one-year-building-cycle seems to have started since Lion (10.7.5). 4
Riley Freeman 556 Posted April 7, 2016 Yep, no release has gone beyond .5 since Snow Leopard, so I'm not expecting this to either. 10.11.5 will be the end of the road for El Cap. 2
fantomas 5101 Posted April 9, 2016 It seems that Apple also seeded the same day a first public beta (thanks to Slice)... build 15F18c. 2
MacGrummel 2 Posted April 10, 2016 My Broadwell i5/5675 has lost it's Graphics Name, but is still not running with Open GL..
IronManJFF 273 Posted April 15, 2016 Yes Oz is here. Yes and I tested Clover and work same. But Oz is better for me. Still need csrutil disable --without nvram to boot under Oz?
crusher 495 Posted April 15, 2016 Still need csrutil disable --without nvram to boot under Oz? yup youre right. I put csrutil (disable SIP) in Defalts.plist
