Hello,

I've just installed Leo4all V2 on my:

HP Pavilion TX1345 TabletPC 12"

AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-64 2x 2.20 GHz • 4096MB (2x 2048MB DDR2) • 250GB Sata • DVD+/-RW DL • NVidia GeForce Go 6150

Did erase all Partitions on install and now is working.

LAN = OK (after select the right one to connect), WLan did first work and BT also out of the box.

How to check the CPU speed ? I guess it's running on full speed, no speed step....

@SmoothOp

Try using Leo4Allv2. That got most of us going pretty well. Let me know how you fare with that.

Ok thanks I will try that as soon as a friend gives me back the Leo4all 2 dvd ;) , although if i remember on trying that I got the yellow line in booting......Just added the appleps2trackpad. kext to extensions but it still seems to be doing the same on boot! I really can't understand why it's not loading the synaptics 6.3 drivers every time. I guess I should reinstall them somewhere I havent ...any ideas ?

I'm posting again as my first answer did not come up...Thanks for the reply , I did try Leo4all 2 before 3 but I kept getting yellow lines at install and boot which I presume were a type of warning that all was not well,even though it did install....my boot always stuck. I'm installing on an external sata WD HD of 160GB which seems pretty fast and it's my first time on Mac os x (I'm a windows expert who got curious ), I seem to be understanding comand lines etc. so far but the road is long and winding :D . I am slowly reading through all of these posts to learn all I can. Will try the 2 version again and let you know how it goes. :)

Bad News!

The QE/CI Nvidia driver project I just started is temporarily on hold. My laptop died-the BIOS doesn't load. So I have to send it in to HP for repair. :) Really sucks!, but oh well. I knew it was going to happen soon with all the hacking and stuff. Luckily, I'm still in warranty.

Will update you guys when the project resumes.

Hello everyone,

I was wondering is some of you have the broadcom 4312 wifi working, i already installed the driver, airport appears as activated, but there's no network in the list.

My card is on the list of supported cards. i don't know what to do to make it work.

Thanx

Hey guys,

I still have bad news and some good promising news.

Bad first,

My laptop is still under repair.

@wyzazz

I have already started going crazy without my laptop. I thought I'd last at least a couple of weeks but... :(

Okay, here's the good promising news,

I ran into someone with a tx1000 and hackintosh. He was using Front Row. I told him about this forum and asked for his help. Now, the weird thing about his setup though is that he somehow (hopefully I can get him to explain to me and hopefully it not too difficult) use ATI Catalyst Drivers to get QE/CI working! That is completely off the walls for me. He says that the same can be done in Windows and Linux too.

Anyway,

I asked him to join the forum and I gave him my email. I will stock him for the remaining 3 weeks of school. :D If he cooperates, I say we will have QE/CI in 1 week. :):):):):)

@ American Yellow

Using ATI Catalyst drivers huh? Interesting... If he doesn't get back to you, or join the forums, you could always kill 2 birds with 1 stone, and snatch his laptop up. :( j/k

I will be on vacation this weekend, but may find some time to try loading some ATI drivers up, any idea which ones?

@ wyzazz

The drivers needed are on ATI website. Once I download them, they have to be edited, installed, followed by a few system changes apparently.

Snatching the laptop is a pretty good idea! If you don't see me on the forums in a few months, just know that I am in jail on theft charges. lol

I used the Leo4allv2 disc and it seems to work pretty well. I was amazed that the webcam worked right from the beginning. Some things don't seem to work like sound and native resolution but I guess some of you got it to run at native res? Well QE/CI is probably not working as you say but at least the minimize effect is.

I haven't tried booting from battery but as it is written it will probably not work.

And yes I'm running the latest bios on a tx1020ea but I'm not keen on downgrading.

Dude:

There are a number of 10.4 drivers on the ATI site..which one should I get?

Alex

@Alex

The drivers don't work off the back. I don't know which specific one to use yet. There some editing/hacking that needs to be done on the driver before it can be used also. I haven't got the instructions on what to do yet so you should probably wait.
