It's the GA-P25-DS4, but it is the rev.2.0 version. Will that make a difference at all, or can I just install Leopard right away (via this tutorial)?

I'm relatively very happy with my board .. P35-DS3P v2.1

@ Professor : I own you a beer man ! My shutdown works since I tryed out you tip (I tested it 3 time, after I cleared the DMI)

So far so good !

Thanks to all of you guys, this Forum really rocks, because of you !

hello mowglibook, what do you mean by " i tried out your tip" ; you deleted jmicron.kext or you used sleep_mach kernel powered by the shell command ?

thanks ( merci !!!)

First BIOS F7

Yes it's ok thank's to you

Notice that if you manage a fresh install with terminal you can apply 10.5.2 combo then manage kext and efi boot & string only a with -v -f single reboot

EDIT/ i have test the time machine recovery under 10.5.2 during the account set up and everything run fine

EDIT PS ; i have just read your script and i would say that if you're using modded (i do not )

IOATAFamily.kext

IONetworkingFamily.kext

JMicronATA.kext

they would be also replaced by 10.5.2

AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext is also added so you have to trash it again

i hope i do not forget some other

LS8 can u help me out? I have a new PC with P35-DS4 and an external eSATA HD. So can i first install Leopard on the external HD, then apply the patch on the intern HD of my computer while i run Leopard of my External HD? I dont really get it ;) When you say 'Make Partitions' this includes other partitions too for my Tri Boot for example? and data partition?

Thank you for the good work

The rev 2.1 has energy saver and 2.0 hasn't. That's the only difference

Is the GA-P35-DS4 rev2.1 and GA-EP35-DS4 rev 2.1 the same card? has anyone got the EP35 rev 2.1?

Yah, on paper they are different, but in actuality? Both of em got exactly the same spec.

thanks, F7 & F8 bios help a little - reboot works OK

but still shutdown not switch off all fans...

and after overnight sleep - Built in LAN forgot it's IP address...

any suggestions ? please

in my opinion best mobo for Quad + LEO = GA-P35-DQ6

between GA-P35-DS4 and GA-P35-DQ6 difference is only within quality of power to CPU when quad extremely overclocked

currently all DS3R, DS4, DQ6 are build on the same board... only volume and quality of chips and condenser are different
