sh0td0wn
Hey, guys. I got most installed... AzaliaAudio solved problem for my ALC883.. Ditched nForce LAN for Linksys adapter using Tulip kext... Posting this using OSX.. BUT OSX is installed in a 20GB 5400RPM IDE drive... surprisingly it's not slow. Should I install to my main HDD and partition using GUID and Boot Camp with XP? I lost my ISO in a format and is wondering how to rip the DVD so I can inject the nForce SATA controller kext in there. DoiX
GUID is not supported in rev1 you must fix it yourself after the installation is complete (http://osx.kbot.de/comments.php?DiscussionID=71&page=1#Item_26) and whats the pint of using boot camp on an hackintosh ??? you can run windows natively Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/73524-new-amd-dvd-for-leopard/page/88/#findComment-602608 Share on other sites

MegaMACOSX
Well, I just ran the Mac OSX Update for the first time and selected all of the updates that were available to install. Upon restarting the system and after the update files were written to the hard disk, there were no problems logging back into the desktop. However, a few seconds later, the system stopped responding and the mouse cursor became a rainbow wheel leaving the system inresponsive. Can there be any reason to this? Or are the updates to blame? Is it even possible to install Apple updates on an Hackintosh? Lastly, when 10.5.2 release, will we able to directly update our Hackintoshs? Please let me know, thank you. Rebooted in Leopard and tried to mount using the terminal command. Didn't work at said ("hdiutil: attach failed - not recognized") Opened up Disk Utility and tried to mount the same ISO file from there and once again, it didn't work. (see same error). It seems that OSX doesn't recognize the ISO file. Should I rip it again a second time? MegaMACOSX
When is Zephyroth Leopard 10.5.1 AMD - Rev. 2 going to be available online? Is Zephroth uploading the image right now? I am so eager to work this out. Please tell me, thanks. May be it is safe to assume that Rev. 2 will release when 10.5.2 becomes official so the developer can incorporate that update. This will ease the frustration of many AMD users when it comes to upgrading to the latest stable release. flying_v
I'm excited about this release, its the closest i've had to a working system! Just needed to remove Geforce kexts and get out of the registration screen loop. I just need to get my X1800XT card working now. So far I have Natit.kext which I believe i've registered correctly using the Zephroyth wiki (installing kexts). Nothing has changed though so i'm thinking I need another kext - I don't think its in the Leopard video kexts I downloaded using rapid share? Thanks for any guidance.
