Test clean Install Beta 9 (25A5351b) done.

Still having to use Mac 7,1 Pro for initial installation (to mitigate not using the WEG.kext thus avoiding the hang at KC etc, etc and black screen when using SmBIOS iMac 20,20 ).

Great news, thanks.👍

I just know to use MacPro7,1 to install macOS 26 as 15.x as usual with RX460 and createinstallmedia.

(always use iMac20,1 before, and never work with createinstallmedia)

1. createinstallmedia to create installing partition.

2. OC 1.0.5 with MacPro7,1, without WhateverGreen.kext.

Everything works fine during the installation, then back to iMac20,1 to boot system. 😎

If you have OCLP install and active, you need to reverse the patching, reboot and clean/rest Nvram, have the RestrictEvent.kext in the kext folder as well as enabled in the config.plist and lastly most important, have this entry in boot-args  revpatch=sbvmm.

I think that covers all the requirements for incremental Updates.

Good luck.

Also, if after doing what @eSaF said the OTA update shows up and doesn’t work, disable SecureBootModel and Bluetoolfixup kext in the config file.

solved using disable bluetoolfixup.kext
yes roll back already

thanks for replying

Great. I had to use full install over the last 3 betas, this saved me. I was getting same error and then it was offering full update.

So, three Macs (one hack, two M series) and one iphone in less than 30 minutes total?  Very fast and very easy updates.  Nice.....

On the Hack:  Bluetoothfixup enabled, Whatevergreen disabled, OC106, no wifi (of course), HDMI Audio, so no changes there, and like I said, fast and easy update.  Ran all four at the same time, and while I worried one or more of them would time out, none did!

Thank you a lot. That helped.

Updated both SSD’s to 9.  I don’t bother to enable patches or relevant Kexts after each upgrade because it is a pain in the butt to reverse them when upgrading to the next beta.  When the final release happens I will do all that.

Good evening  @Max.1974 I apologize if I butt in on the conversation, but wouldn't it be quicker to post a link given all the requests you get? Anyway, it's an interesting app. Congratulations to whoever created it.

Best regards

can i try it too mate. Thanks

@LockDown

Hi my dear friend, how’s it going?

My app is still in testing mode and not ready for safe use yet — it needs some adjustments.

I’m sorry, but I’m not planning to release it for now. All the other scripts are running well, I’m just trying to unify these tools.

I sent a private message to the people who asked for it, explaining that there are risks of data loss. I haven’t lost any data myself yet, but it could happen, and the layout is not fully finalized. I wanted to make sure everything was in place before releasing it, but I ended up taking on other projects that I need to finish first.

Best Regards :thumbsup_anim:

Hi @Perdu

The app works fine, but I haven’t tested it as extensively as the other scripts, and the layout isn’t very pleasant. Unfortunately, to make it really work I have to put the “ugly” terminal in the middle, so I figured people might not like it. And then there are those “Youngers ” boys who may already struggle with a single script — imagine with several, hahaha. But I’ll try to make it happen.

After installing Easy Updater(Build Easy Updater OSX EN.app), I used it to update from the old Sequoia 15.7 build to the latest 24G219.

After several reboots, everything is fine, BUT where can I find the app shown in the pictures here?

Specifically, where can I find the Easy Updater Suite? I can't see it in the programs.

See the post by @Max.1974 above yours. He explains why he has not released the app to the public as yet.
