You can keep using it since it’s the same application with the same code, but when used separately they are more effective than when we put them into SwiftUI. Some tests from colleagues in other places worked, but others didn’t. That’s also why I haven’t finalized it yet and I still don’t know if I really will, because the goal is that all users can use the terminal safely, without any fear, regardless of third-party apps and without needing any USB anymore

But without the complete update it hasn't done anything so far. On the contrary, it requires more restarts than if I were to update normally. So please, Max, make the right app available to everyone. Thanks for that.

Max, thanks for your information on other tools, but it's all too complicated for me. I'm not a programmer like you 🙂

I was only interested in your Easy Updater Suite because I found interesting options in your pictures,

such as "macOS Downloader," "SystemUpdate," "Media Creator," "EFI Mounter," etc.

I can also update from one build to a newer one more easily by running the "macOS installer.app."

Yes, this is the same code, just little more time with double-click on macOs app. I have tested and leave 40 minutes or more. So I decide create this tool.  10 minutes.

@AlfredoM  my dear, the central idea is simply to perform a quick update, with only 2 — at most 3 — reboots, just to clear temporary files. Compare that to the need of reinstalling everything from scratch, which is not necessary here: no need to create a new installer, no need to replace the EFI, no formatting, and no “praying” that the long installation will work despite chipset and USB reader issues.

 

This approach takes only a few minutes, while preserving all of your existing installation content — no disabling kexts, no EFI backups, none of that. That’s the central idea: practicality and safety. Not the delay of waiting for OTA or clicking twice in the macOS App and then waiting 40+ minutes on slower machines. Have you ever stopped to think about how much more practical and secure this is?

MyKextInstaller v1.3 has just released the new version, which I don't particularly like since I like it as simple as possible. The most interesting thing is the information regarding everything necessary for the application to work. For some, this will be very good, now to know if the AppleHDA.kext patch will work, but there is a new section that I don't understand, which is "Mount Partition." It is also not difficult to translate into other languages, for example, in my language, which is in Spanish, and we have a colleague who has already translated some applications.

 

 

"KmX-7n-9y7.title" is correct for = "To ensure the audio restoration works correctly, please make sure that all the information and settings displayed on this screen are accurate and meet the minimum requirements.\nIf any item is incorrect or not properly configured, the installation may fail or have no effect."; no not the one published it I don't know if it's appropriate to publish here.

All these are done.  I never enable securebootmodel and bluetoolfixup is disabled while I keep updating the Betas.  I'm logged into my apple account as well.  Its a mystery.

The 'Mount Partition' button simply mounts the volume in R/W mode, equivalent to:
 

sudo mount -o nobrowse -t apfs /dev/diskXsX /System/Volumes/Update/mnt1

I originally created this function for some manual testing I was doing, but I decided to keep it — it's useful for me, though it might not be useful for most people here, so feel free to ignore it.

 

As for app localization into other languages, I plan to implement that soon. However, some fields have character limits, so I strongly advise against translating for now — unless you don’t mind seeing some missing letters or overlapping UI elements.

I suspect there must be some kind of misalignment on the installation somehow.

Ran first aid on all volumes in recovery mode.  No errors everything ok.

This is not an issue as Modern Wireless Patches are not available yet for macOS Tahoe - OpenCore Legacy Patcher even tells you that your OS is not supported.

Double check that the machine is registered in iCloud with your credentials and P/W, try sending a message to yourself in iMessage to see if it is received and answered.

 

The only thing I can think of is why full Updates are offered and not Incremental if the criteria is in place.

Double check the boot-arg revpatch=sbvmm is spelt correctly and the RestrictEvent.kext is loading at boot.

 

I don't know what else to suggest as I think we've exhausted all options to correct the problem.

Hope you get it sorted soon.

Rechecked RestrictEvent.kext as true and checked spelling of revpatch.  All good.  I guess I will just have to keep downloading the full installers till Tahoe is done.  That’s ok.

Hi, I after seeing this comment, I thought I'd get my old HP 800 G4 (same spec as yours minus the WX4100) running Tahoe B9 but I'm not having much luck.

Windows 11 runs fine as does an older SSD with High Sierra. Tahoe boots but fails with an AHCI error 0xe0030005.

Would you mind sharing your EFI?

I can get working USB ports on my Haswell rig with your EFI, but BT and ETH doesn´t works also, I have a RTL 8111 that´s your EFI includes the kext, and also a BRCM 2070A as a USB BT dongle. ALC 892 and HD 4600 depends on OCLP team dev.
Can you help me with that?

Use a Tahoe compatible SMBios.

Your EFI folder is out of date. For example, Tahoe won't install with Lilu.kext 1.6.2.
