Ten minutes after Apple announced the new Beta and I'm already late to the party!  You all are fast! :hysterical:

Very easy and fast upgrade from Tahoe Beta 6 -> Beta 7 following same procedure as the Beta 5 and Beta 6 upgrades.

About This Hack

VoodooHDA continues to provide perfect audio without any further manual intervention since it was installed in Tahoe Beta 2.  With VoodooHDA, this hack behaves as though it natively supports Tahoe.  Very nice.

@Anto65 You always have the direct download link, first hand!
Only @miliuco can use the Migration Assistant.
And I can breathe! {laughs}  :wallbash: :hysterical:

After patching I have full audio.

It is just a bind having to re-patch after every update.

Young @eSaF
When I install the final version of macOS Tahoe, I'll use the audio patch.

For now, I'm using the monitor's audio output. Audio is routed from the Hackintosh to the monitor via the DisplayPort cable.

@webipsum  Come on , this time it'll work for you... I can feel it 😅

Have you been able to use Migration Assistant?
I'm using the same Beta, Time Machine, or another macOS Tahoe installation (external SSD), and I'm having no success.
What could be affecting it? EFI, BIOS settings, lack of Superpowers?

No, I don't use it. I have little to migrate , practically nothing 😆 and reinstalling the four apps I use takes a moment.

I should point out that it's been a while since I've done a clean install.

And then I think miliuco put in a good word for you 😂

I don't really have much need for migration, just out of curiosity, I'd like to see how it works.

I can tell you that i believe the Migration Utility is broken.  For Beta 6, I decided to do a complete install.  I have never set up encryption (on a beta?  No...), and I did the install and it came up with no encryption, then I started the Migration Uility and when it was done (because it doesn't alway finish - plenty of instances that it just reboots and reboots and reboots - check  Google if you don't believe me), but when it was done, my drive was encrypted!  So I did a complete install and just re-installed everything.  I have my user config backed up in sections via sparsebundles and so I just used Carbon Copy Cloner to restore them (Downloads, Documents, Music, Movies, etc, etc).  Then I reinstalled my applications, mostly from the App store and of course all those apps that weren't in the App store I manually installed them.  Didn't take that much longer than playing around with the Migration Utility.  The result?  No encryption and it is working great now.

I haven't used migration assistant for a while (OTA works fine for me), but for those that are attempting to use MA, the destination volume (the volume to which you are migrating) should have a sealed snapshot.  That means no OCLP (or similar) patches on the destination volume.  Either use MA before applying patches or revert patches, MA and then restore patches.
