i don't know i have no luck to get desktop on tahoe on my desktop so i can not test the package...

you can open an issue on their github discussion page

The desktop is otherwise fine, just not fully accelerated with my NVidia Kepler-based graphics card.

This link gave me high hopes, because it said that Kepler-based graphics cards were supposedly fully supported,

but now it doesn't work. I'd like to know if anyone else has managed to get it working, or is it just a fake?

Ciao, I got no issues during installation but it didn't change anything. Neither graphic acceleration nor audio. So it's useless.

😑

Cela fonctionne définitivement à Sequoia, je ne l'ai pas vérifié à Tahoe.

You can install it OK. I have tested it yet, try to modify a .rtf file on the partition -> file is locked in read mode only. So nothing more than default MacOS read only mounting mode. Tahoe I haven't latest beta installed but if it is not working with Sequoia ...

@fantomas my original question was for Tahoe.

I just installed on Tahoe-beta7 and it works. Just need to manually install macfuse-5.0.5 - https://macfuse.github.io/

I already thought it was a fake. Because if it really supported the graphics, other people would post about it in other forums right away.

These are always big shots who think they've done something wonderful, but it's useless garbage.

Hi, I don't know if this is the right place to post it but I just wanted to say that, while waiting for new oclp version, I installed linux mint in a ext ssd just to test. It's fast as lightning though in usb. You know just an insurance in case... A Vulcan friend of mine would say "Fascinating"

Tested on my beta. I can have same picture as you, and macfuse updated of course.

But if i want edit a file on mounted partition, it says : read only

If you can write on mounted partitions, can you share our CSR config ? Other tricks ?

I conducted an experiment - I created a text file called TEST, wrote "TEST1" in the text, saved it on the desktop. Then I mounted the NTFS volume, and copied the text file TEST, opened this file, there was the inscription "TEST1", added the inscription "TEST2" and saved the file. With the subsequent opening of this file I see two inscriptions - "TEST1" and "TEST2". In general, I do not have such a problem as you. In CSR, I only disable ALLOW_UNRESTRICTED_NVRAM\ncsr-active-config (40000000), there are reasons for this, but usually SIP is enabled for me.

I don't understand the need to write to the System partition i.e. Windows C drive

I always create a Windows C System partition ( Ntfs ) if the disk is large enough , the remaining in Exfat for the data  🤷‍♂️

... maybe it's time to create a separate discussion ?

Thanks sergey for your test. When I modify directly a text file (here an .rtf one) I get first a proposal to unlock it. After click to unlock (Déverrouiiler in French), i says it can't because volume is read only.

My Csr csr-active-config    %03%08%00%00

Theses are not system partitions in my case, and I don't want to restructure my 4 internal disks 26 partitions :) . The good news I've found the solution. Where is the best section  to post a tutorial ?

A problem that's been occurring here since Beta 5:
Sometimes when I turn on or restart my Hackintosh and try to boot into macOS Tahoe using OC 1.0.5, the boot process continues without opening macOS Tahoe (only those verbose lines are displayed), and then stops after a while.
If I restart it again, it normally loads into macOS Tahoe (currently Beta 7).
Any tips? Tks!

EDIT:
This happens very rarely. Most of the time it goes in normally.

This is a problem I rarely encountered until Beta 6. I haven't encountered it yet in Beta 7. I believe the problem is related to Rx500 series cards. In rare cases, the error starts in the graphics card recognition line (after the pink lines). A reboot is required.

@strangeron
Information Update:
I set the WhateverGreen.kext in OC > Kernel to True and the problem disappeared.
At least for now!

I downloaded and tried to install OCLP-mod 3.0 from GitHub.  It did seem to do something but upon reboot things were the same.  So I guess it doesn’t work.

I've tried version 3.0.0 from Actions in GitHub repo and it has worked.
Chinese language makes it confusing, but it's not hard to figure out where to click. Have you checked AppleHDA patch in Settings >> Patches? I checked Classic Launchpad too. Integrated audio and classic Launchpad are back.

Hi, i manage to install Tahoe without major issues, disable/enable WEG

Almost everything is working except WIFI

I have a usb wifi adapter, RTL8812BU USB 3.0 WLAN Adapter 1200Mbps 2.4GHz/5GHz WiFi USB that is working properly on Sequoia

I'm trying to use @chris1111 driver https://github.com/chris1111/Wireless-USB-OC-Big-Sur-Adapter/blob/master/Usage-macOS-Tahoe.md

The problem that when i try to use OCLP the install button is greyout

After i continue and installed the Wireless-USB-OC-Big-Sur-Adapter after the reboot the WIFI usb adapter is not detelcted

My specs are:

GPU: RX580

MB: ASUS Maximus X hero Z370

CPU: I7 8700K

SMBIOS: I,MAC 20.2

Can someone has any idea regarding how to make wifi work, really appreciate any suggestion. Thanks

Yes. It will be deactivated before the update and activated after the update.😂

Young @miliuco
Could this be the reason I can't use Migration Assistant?
Every time I tried, WhateverGreen.kext was set to False in my EFI!
@strangeron tks!

Thanks @verdazil i will try to disable AMFi, but why do i need to have a working LAN network?

Because it is a requirement for the OCLP to work. In particular, it must download the KDK. Use IntelMausi.kext
