Guys, let's not forget that this topic is dedicated to the pre-release Tahoe, let's keep common sense here, in the past we have already polluted this topic with issues related to MyKextInstaller, and now with SimpleLoader, the author of this application should open a dedicated topic and support it there.

That's what is the case. Everything is set but no connectivity due to the missing OCLP WIFI patch.

Without OCLP its possible "copy and past" from iPhone and vice versa

I'm not seeing any problems with USB mapping after the Tahoe Beta 3 -> Beta 4 upgrade.  My USBPorts.kext is the original USBPorts.kext generated by Hackintool (used since macOS Catalina) with only the addition of usb-port-type and usb-port-number.  The map has only 15 USB ports.

How many ports are in your USB port map?

What if there r more than 15 ports in my USB mapping kext?

After struggling for more than 1 month Clover 5163 can boot my Acer Veriton X6660G successfully now.

It need Inject Intel plus ig-platform-id 0x3E9B0007 otherwise UHD-630 always got blank screen booted by OpenCore 1.0.5.

For me, I had to disable a few ports for Beta 4

Sometimes my keyboard/mouse can not be recognized with the kext mapped more than 15 ports,i dont know whether it is because of this

Hi my friend @robi62

How do I manage to use Universal Clipboard (copy/paste between Apple devices) on a Hackintosh with macOS Tahoe, even without working Wi-Fi?

Maybe is because Universal Clipboard relies primarily on Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) to detect nearby Apple devices, and in many situations, it can transmit small clipboard data (like text or images) directly over Bluetooth, without needing full Wi-Fi AWDL support.

I’m using a native Broadcom PCIe card (such as the BCM94360CD), which is supported out of the box by macOS without the need for injector kexts. This makes the operating system treat it just like official Mac hardware.

Key reasons it works:

Bluetooth LE is working natively with no patching / Both devices are signed into the same iCloud account / Handoff and Continuity are properly enabled

I use two additional native Apple Bluetooth-related kexts that are rarely included in typical Hackintosh builds, and almost never mentioned in the Dortania guide

All kexts in my EFI are compiled manually using up-to-date tools to ensure full support for macOS 15 (Tahoe)

Kexts https://github.com/hnanoto/AirPort-Utility  and https://github.com/hnanoto/Bluetooth-File-Exchange

My ACPI is configured with care: all custom SSDTs are hand-written and compiled without any errors, warnings, or invalid scopes

Even though AirDrop doesn’t work in this setup—due to its strict requirement for working Wi-Fi AWDL, multicast support, and Bonjour—the Universal Clipboard continues to function because it is more flexible and can rely solely on Bluetooth LE for discovery and data transfer in small sessions.

The result is a stable and functional copy/paste integration between macOS and iOS/iPadOS, with no need for third-party patches or workarounds.

It’s the result of a clean configuration: native hardware, modern tools, correct kext compilation, and solid ACPI. Most people skip these steps, but that’s the difference between a generic setup and a fully working, near-native Hackintosh environment. ;)

@Robi62 are you already try use LocaSend app? It's free and useful, you can use in your iPhone, Android, macOS, Windows or Linux. Its more fast and you can install from AppleStore

Is the appstore working for anyone? It won't show updates. But when I search for microsoft excel, the app page shows there is an update and I have to click each app to update. Tried clearing caches but same issue.

Hi @robi62

As @Max.1974 mentioned, you get the most compatibility in case of continuity features, if you're using a OOB adapter, like the Apple Airport Adapters or the BCM94360xx. I got a DELL DW1830 (BCM943602BAED) and even with this not everything is working.

Except of "ExtendBTFeatureFlags" set to True in OC config, I am not using any KEXT and I have a pretty default configuration (I even use dortania's prebuilt SSDTs).

In Tahoe I use an ASUS AC-53 WiFi USB dongle, because of currently unavailable Root Patches.

My DELL DW1830 doesn't need AirportBrcmFixup, but needs BrcmPatchRAM / BlueToolFixup.

Here some examples of my continuity features behavior:
Universal clipboard works partially. Text, photos, audio (e.g. m4r), and video (e.g. mp4) can be copied and pasted from the iPhone to macOS - but not the other way around (same behaviour in Sequoia or Ventura).

Handoff works from iPhone to macOS, also not in the other direction (there are "From MacBook..." tabs in Safari, but real Handoff works via the iOS app switcher).

AirDrop from Tahoe to iPhone doesn't work although the iPhone is found in Tahoe's AirDrop menu (as expected). in the opposite direction, Tahoe is not found. In Sequoia Airdrop works in both directions (in Ventura somehow doesn't send from macOS to iPhone).

Continuity camera (wireless) can be selected, but doesn't work (same as in Sequoia or Ventura - this feature only works with "KEXT less" Adapters like BCM94360NG and the Apple Airport Adapters).

Airplay works from and to macOS (also in Tahoe) - miraculously apple didn't restrict this.

@hiphopboy
Is this what you're trying to do in Beta 4?
I did it here and it worked.
If you have trouble selecting text from the first letter/word, click in the middle of the text and after then select from the first letter/word.

thanks, it's not at all working, i don't know why, but thanks so much

The App Store doesn't work at all on my late 2013 iMac.

When I open the App Store, I see the individual entries like "Search," "Update," etc. at the top, but after that, it's just a blank window.

Update:

I just checked on my still-supported 2019 MacBook Pro (16-inch), and the App Store works perfectly.

@Casey_S.J. and others with Aquantia AQC-113C 10GB Ethernet Adapters:

I've been using SSDT-Aquantia-AQC113C.aml and DTPG.aml with ForeceAquantiaEthernet Quirk on my GA-Z690 Aorus Master Rig from macOS Monterey but I recently came across these settings which seems to be working just fine on macOS Tahoe and earlier so far. I don't need to use Kernel Patches or the SSDTs I've mentioned above, just thought you might be interested.

@Cyberdevs Is AppleVTD enabled on your Intel system (GA-Z690)? The Aquantia kext patches are only needed when AppleVTD is (a) unavailable as on AMD systems, or (b) intentionally disabled on Intel systems. A detailed explanation of the patches is provided here:
